We went to the Wine Rooms for a dinner before heading to the O2. We booked our table and were seated downstairs in the wine bar, which I actually liked better than the upstairs restaurant - I think there is more character and atmosphere downstairs. We did not have starters, as the dinner was pretty early and we were not hungry enough, instead we ordered mains and desserts, and of course wine. The wine was very nice (we ordered something simple which they had by glass). For the main I had tuna, which was delicious, though next time I will go for a more rare version (it was my own fault to ask for it to be cooked medium-rare). My husband had a duck which he also enjoyed. As a side dish I asked for a mixed salad, and though it was not on the menu, I was still able to get it. For the dessert we ordered coffee and 2 desserts, however, only 1 dessert was delivered and no coffee. It seemed that the staff were very busy and probably there was some confusion. We decided not to ask about our second dessert/coffee, as we were running late for the show in O2. When we got the bill, the non-delivered dessert and coffee were not included. Overall the food was above my expectations, very tasty and full of flavour, the wine was very nice and we will be back in the Wine Rooms.

Well done Dublin wine rooms! I live in IFSC and was so delighted when i saw a cool new wine bar/restaurant pop up. I went there with my boyfriend for a quick dinner and it was delicious - we both had lamb shank and a delicious bottle of red. Not only delicious the service was prompt and friendly and the atmosphere was really relaxed and welcoming. I would highly recommend this place - for me the best restaurant in IFSC - and ive been to them all! Have been back since for lunch and that was absolutely delicious! Will be back soon.
