Zakura is the perfect spot for cheap, cheerful and tasty Japanese cuisine! The tempura is light, not greasy and the sushi portions are excellent ly balanced. Oh and the BYOB is a fantastic deal! Would definitely recommend.

Very nice relaxing atmosphere with quiet music. Delicious sushi. The waiting staff never came with the bill when we asked (we waited 25 min). So we paid at the counter as we left.

The place was packed out and had a real party atmosphere. It was BYO wine which my table of 4 made full use of. The food was so tasty, and the portions sizes are massive. Our waitress explained that the food would come when it was ready, traditionally there are no starters. This suited us fine, as it fit in well with the relaxed atmosphere. Our table ordered a mixture of sushi, sashimi, ramon noodles, dumpling and tempura prawns. With corkage of 4 bottles of wine and everyone ordering 2 to 3 dishes it only came to about €25 each. Left with full and happy, will most def go back!

First time at Zakura but I'll definitely be back! The decor and dining room is very minimalistic, it doesn't feel like a place you'd linger in after eating. Service was very swift and efficient. The food was really very good. If you like sushi, you should try this place. As sushi places go in Dublin, it's one of the best I've had.

Very near to where I stay. Went there on the recommendation made by my chinese friend. Loved it. The food, environment and everything is excellent. This place is fantastic if you want to try a nice decent meal and different cuisine. Will be back again.

This is a great local sushi spot. Its not fancy but the food and service are excellent. We come here about 2-4 times a month and we have gyoza followed by sushi which are consistently good. Occasionally we'll try the noodles which I think, personal taste, I don't like as much but I'm sure to a noodle aficionado they are fine. Can't beat this place for value.

The best valued Japenese restaurant in Dublin. I have come for both lunch and dinner. Lunch deals are amazing at €8-9 2 course lunch special and the byob for evening meal is fantastic, only €4 corkage charge. Never been let down by the food, tasty and great choice. Relaxed atmosphere, service is great.

My favorite Japanese restaurant in dublin. The food is lovely. My favorite starters are the pork gyoza and then veg gyoza. And for main in the Katsu curry and Beef Teriyaki. 4 euro wine corkage is great also.

Got a takeaway and nice having free green tea while I'm waiting. Food delicious. Salmon in temaki was bit chewy though.

As usual all tables were booked which makes it a tad too noisy. The food was beautiful though (also as usual). We had the epi tempura, pork gyoza, itame ramen and sushi platter and all were absolutely delicious. Service was very attentive despite it being so busy.

This restuarant is one of the best in Dublin and I wish I had discovered it earlier. The food is delicious, portions are generous and excellent value and the staff could not be more attentive. I will definitely be making a return to this restaurant.

I was there for lunch. The atmosphere is busy and bustling, but the staff seem a bit rushed and chaotic. The food is good and the Bento box in particular is good value at €8.95, (the Bento box seems to change daily). I would certainly go back.
