Browns Barn 4.0 star review: Ate here on the way home from National Stud & Japanese Gardens. It was my second visit and first time for the 4 other people in the group. We just had main courses of Chicken Curry, Steak Sandwich, Burger and Steak.. My dining companions were very impressed with their food and presentation. Two deserts ordered, Bailey's Cheesecake and Strawberry Pavlova and again enjoyable. We had lovely waitress who was friendly and efficient. Definitely going to call again.

Browns Barn 0.5 star review: Absolutely dreadful place to eat in. Dirty and very dusty, this place needs a thorough overhaul. Floors were badly marked in parts, and there was scratched and tatty looking paintwork on the walls, which is not good for an eating establishment. We really should have followed our instincts and walked out when we were shown to the chiller cabinet for our sandwiches, but we had made a special effort to go to Browns Barn and didn’t have time to go searching for somewhere else for a quick lunch. They sure know how to charge though, scandalously high prices for sandwiches (not even fresh) and tea. This is the probably the worst experience we have had in years in Dublin, we will not be going back – ever. The only good point was the service, as the young lady who looked after us did her best, and was most pleasant.

Browns Barn 0.0.0 star review: I have never had such a rude waitress. I was quite shocked and still am at her comments and lack of manners. Usually i would complain to the duty manager but in this instance i did not feel i would receive a satisfactory response. The food i cannot fault. It was tasty and fairly priced but the dreadful service will deter myself and my companions from returning or recommending this place.

Browns Barn 2.0 star review: Ate here with my family. The party consisted of six adults and four children. I wasn't impressed at all. Found the staff very rude. Only one member of waiting staff had any kind of manners. We even had one member of staff remove cartons of juice (without asking) from the table stating that they weren't included in the children's meal deals. She had to be asked to put them back that the children required a drink and they would be paid for. All the adults had the carvery, the vegetables were severely under cooked and the mashed potatoes full of pepper, along with a miserable portion of one roast potato per plate. I had the pavlova and I may as well have been eating toffee, far too chewy. Wouldn't recommend here and certainly wouldn't eat here again.

Browns Barn 4.5 star review: Sunday dinner for 2 adults and 2 kids, we had carvery (kids had pizza and chicken gougans). Carvery was very good, self service with the veggies a good idea, kids meals were made fresh and delivered to table, kids meals included juice and ice cream in the price, and food was of good quality, I really hate when restaurants serve kids bad quality food!! Was v impressed with the standard for the price we paid, I have to mention the lovely Staff here, everyone we encountered was really friendly and we enjoyed our meal here and will visit again

Browns Barn 3.5 star review: Had the Sunday carvery and it was really good. The meat was hot and tasty without tasting like it had been sitting under a hot grill for the entire afternoon and the vegetables were really fresh and not over cooked. Had the apple pie for dessert and it was bang on. Worked out just over a tenner for 2 people including a coke. Will go back next time I'm in the area.

Browns Barn 4.0 star review: Good pub grub. We had the burger and fish and chips. Nothing fancy but good quality pub grub. The specials are really well priced and make this the best stop for a quick bite to eat on the way to or way from Dublin. Effecient and friendly staff

Browns Barn 5.0 star review: Just home from Sunday carvery and wanted to spread the love!
The meat was hot and tasty, the vegetables fresh and the staff very friendly! There was no vegetarian option on the carvery menu but the chef made a gorgeous stir fry there and then...I've never had such good service! And to top it off the carvery is only €7.95 Saturday and Sunday!!! Complete bargain!!!
There wasn't much choice of desserts but the apple tart was yummy!
