This is a very large room and was very noisy on the night we visited. There were lots of hurling supporters around. The food was fairly standard hotel fare but the Caesar salad very tasty. However, my companion was not impressed with her 'homemade' soup. We both had salmon for the main course - fine. The lemon cheese cake was good. I thought it was expensive enough for what was fairly standard fare and would not be in a rush to go back.

My first impression booking was not great and the person on the phone was very distracted. The decor was very poor it was cold and should not be called a restaurant as it is just and extention of the bar. It was very hard to hear when you were talking as the band in the bar was very loud. The service was like a stressed mother trying to get the dinners on the table and it was just handed to you. The food was good and hot but would not be my first choice again to go out for a birthday meal.

Had a family dinner her on a Wed night to mark an anniversary. The service was very very poor. They were understaffed & the quality of the food was really poor. My sisters dish had to be sent back as it was cold, then her rice was re-heated so it was hard. Another persons steak was butterflied without even asking if we wanted it like that. There was nobody to serve us drink so we had to get them from the bar ourselves. Overall not good service & very poor food. We will not be returning here in the future.
