Four of us girlies went over to the Hair Show that was organised last Sunday in Louis Fitz. We decided to treat ourselves early for Mother's day and had our dinner there in restaurant. Where do I start. The service was dreadful, food ok lot of bones in the fish,, two of us had fish, other two thai curry. We asked for jug of water before we ordered food it came when the food and all was finished. We were over 3/4 of an hour waiting for food could find no one to serve us drinks even though there were 4 staff on our end so we were told they were obviously the elusive staff members. Really bad show no apologies from bar staff one girl who was serving other end was so nice she is wasted there. Sad to see this kind of service or should I say lack of in an establishment like Louis Fitzgeralds. We won;t be back.

where do i start, well i went for lunch with the girls here today and ordered a tuna salad sandwich, i was presented with a stale sandwich with a load of mayo in it, barely any tuna and a leaf of whitered lettuce, hardly a tuna salad, it was promptly sent back and i got another sandwich which was a million times better presented then the original one. When going to pay the bill, i let the duty manager know that i was a little disappointed with the standards and i got " the bread is fresh everyday, so theres no possible way its our fault" needless to say i will never ever be back after being spoken to like that, the tuna salad should be tuna flavored mayonaise at best, the mayo repeated on my all day, for such a lovely bar, its such a shame about the staff and the food

Have been here twice in the past week due to its convenient location at the time. We ate in the bar both times as the restaurant was booked up on both days (communions on the Sunday and private party on the Tuesday). The bar food is reasonable. The fish cake for starter was very tasty. I had the open beef sandwich on one occasion for main course, felt the beef was slightly fatty, although the bread was very good. On the second trip I had the chicken which was delicious. The thai red curry which my mum had was very tasty and definitely a recommendation. The Banoffi for dessert was somewhat disappointing, almost like a pre-packed dessert. Overall food was very average and I would not be rushing back.
