Maximilians Bistro 5.0 star review: I have visited Maximilians twice in the past month with a group and we really like it. The food, service and warm welcome are consistently good, we have never had any complaints. And judging by the way it's always packed the word is spreading :)

Maximilians Bistro 5.0 star review: WHAT A HIDDEN GEM ! Place was buzzing and after only 5 min wait at the bar we got our table . Ate here for the first time last night and I must say I was very impressed .Our food was superb, freshly cooked and full of flavors.( ps.the Crab Meat lasagna is amazing ) We were seated in the wine and piano bar which i was hopping. The pianist was very talented and everyone seemed to enjoy his easy playing. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a special occasion as the staff were extremely professional and helpful. Will definitely be returning soon and bring some friends with me.

Maximilians Bistro 3.5 star review: Always good standard here. Service was slow on the day, even though it was not that busy. Good standard of food and value for money. The 2 course lunch deal is very good value.

Maximilians Bistro 3.5 star review: While the food was good it was overpriced especially the fish platter at €29.50 and the beer at €5.50 a bottle. Atmosphere and service was good but better value to be had locally.

Maximilians Bistro 3.5 star review: This restaurant does amazing value on its 2 course lunch menu, plenty of food at a great price. Its a starter and main course,i do think however you should be able to choose a main and a desert instead if you do not want a starter. I asked about this, and it is not possible. Having said that, the service and the food is always good.

Maximilians Bistro 4.5 star review: Myself and my partner are regulars at Maximillians. Our latest visit was Valentines Night. The special Valentines Menu was gorgeous, a very nice selection of starters, mains and desserts. The staff were all so friendly as usual, and thanked us for our custom with prosecco on the house at the end of the evening. The Valentines decorations were a lovely touch and the pianist who played during the course of the evening was very talented. A very romantic evening indeed!

Lamb Cutlets with Garlic, Lemon and Paprika

Why not make up a large quantity of this marinade in advance – it is wonderful with cutlets and would also work well with leg steaks or loin chops. The longer you marinate the meat for, the better the flavour!
