Brownes Steakhouse 2.0 star review: My wife and I are from Clonsilla and due a change of plans we decided to try this local restaurant as it was one we always wanted to try out. We called and made a reservation beforehand but arrived 30min before our appointment. This was no problem as the restaurant was a quarter at most full (for a Friday Evening).
We were shown to a table and asked if it was ok. We sat and looked over the menu.
I was hoping to try the grilled steak. But having seen the price at €25 and this is served with a sauce I was annoyed to see that fries were another €3.00. I was not prepared to pay that extra for frozen chips.
For starters I ordered the squid rings and dip my wife ordered the cold meat plate each about €8.00. My starter was served on a disgusting old fashioned blue patterned dish; my wife’s meat salad was served on a wooden board. The starters were nothing I could do better myself. I am sure all came out of a bought in packet including the dips. For mains we both ordered burgers which came with fries, as stated the fries were the skinny frozen type available in any supermarket or McDonnell. For €15.00 I think fresh cut chips are not a lot to expect. The burgers were OK as we were both hungry we eat all on the plates.
We finished with coffees and shared a tiramisu and we had a bottle of red house wine at €17.00 with the meal.
As for the atmosphere and surroundings it was poor. He décor was straight out of a paint can with no imagination or the hint of professional design input. The layout is seating in booths where you are cut off form looking around you, and this caused issues in getting the attention of staff. All in all it was my first and last time to Browns Steakhouse, Blanchardstown. There is much better restaurants with better food and full of character in the area to be found.

Brownes Steakhouse 2.5 star review: The resturant was a nice atmosphere however there were many things we disliked. We didnt have just 1 waitress we had 3 who continued to ask was everything ok and the minute we put down our forks they were straight over to take our plates. It seemed very rushed however the resturant wasnt booked out, it was more to keep them busy. We had the steak on the stone which was delicious however the food is overpriced eating a 3 course in Brownes can be very expensive.

Brownes Steakhouse 3.0 star review: Having been here been here about one year previously, I thought it was the perfect local place to get a good steak with my party of four. The restaurant was very busy despite it only being 6.30. We kicked off with the house red and were all set for a great meal. The menu had broadened greatly since I was last here but the quality was not maintained. The starters ranging from clam chowder to ribs were a let down. The mains picked up with the surf and turf being quite nice and the other steaks cooked quite well. The tables palate ranged from well done to rare and all were happy with the way they came out cooked. The sides were a little pricey but tasty. If I am going back I will skip the starters and just stick to steak. An enjoyable night overall but not my first choice for a steakhouse in future.

Brownes Steakhouse 4.5 star review: Very nice atmosphere and the food / service was very good.
Just one problem, the prices on your menu are more expensive than stated on your website. We booked based on the prices on your website, but disappointed to see that you website prices are not correct.
Lovely restaurant, great food. But felt cheated.
Just update the website please!!

Brownes Steakhouse 4.0 star review: I have been visiting this place few times and I have to say that the value for such quality of meat is really good.
The fillet beef on the stone is delicious however the sides could be a lot better!
The staff is very friendly which is always appreciable. The other thing that could be improved is the way the room is designed by adding fans, when you leave the restaurant your clothe will always smells of grilled meat.

Brownes Steakhouse 3.0 star review: The fillet beef on the stone was the best meat I have had in a long time, but why cant they bring the rest of the meal up to that standard, how hard can it be to get french fries right?, very little value in the starters. the lads enjoyed the junior fillet steak on the stone (6 oz).

Brownes Steakhouse 5.0 star review: We have been here a few times now as hubby loves the teak on the stone! We've always had good experiences here and love the food. For me, the chilli and the French onion soup ate favourites.

The staff are friendly and attentive and the weekly offers mean you great value for money.

Also, took my mum who's a celiac here and she was treated likes queen - which made her day!

Brownes Steakhouse 3.0 star review: Ate here 2 weeks ago. Had the Steak on the stone dinner. Firstly, the idea of having to essentially cook it yourself is awful, having to keep removing the meat from the stone so it doesnt overcook while you eat is ridiculous. And the 3 sauces that come with it were terrible. However the service was reasonable and I enjoyed the desserts.

I would hope they could improve the quality of the food however

Brownes Steakhouse 5.0 star review: Have been here twice in the last month, once on a Thursday evening and on a Saturday. Both times the restaurant was very busy. There do a great deal of 25% off steaks on Thursday night. Both got steaks and they were delicious, other time had salmon and it too was very nice. Very friendly staff and good atmosphere, will be back again & again!

Brownes Steakhouse 4.0 star review: I visited here last week for the first time and I am very glad I did. The lunch special- I went for the steak with a 2.50 supplement, So it cost me 12.50 for a steak dinner and a glass of wine, this is unbelievable value and the steak was cooked to perfection, id say one of the best steaks Iv had. I would prefer a bigger portion of pepper sauce as it was also the smallest portion id ever had. The service was fast and efficient, I think we were in and out in 30 mins. Over all great place, nice staff, beautiful food and very fair prices, I'm sure I will be a regular customer now :)
