Recently renovated and under new management, Darcy McGees can offer you everything you need for a great night out. We can be found just off the M50 and only minutes from the city center. We have something for you whatever the mood. Relax by our open fire in The Cottage, enjoy a pint in The Parlour or talk to friends over a coffee in The Coffee Dock. And on those warm summer evenings, enjoy a drink in our large beer garden.

Myself and my partner have eaten here twice now and both times have been very happy with the quality of the food served and value for money. Service between courses can be a little slow but sometimes that's not a bad thing. We also had a family meal out with 14 people and have to say it too was great, everybody loved the food and commented on how reasonable the bill was at the end of the evening. It did get particularly hot at one stage but maybe because we were seated beside the kitchen. The staff are extremely polite, friendly and efficient. Overall I would recommend D'arcy McGee's as somewhere reasonably priced with a relaxed athmosphere and quality food.

Had a meal here last night. Great selection of steaks, curries, wraps, nachos, fish etc. Polite and friendly staff. A little slow with the food however. Great food. To be honest I was surprised as would not have thought of The Spawell as a place for good food but I would definitely return here.

We booked a table for 18 people and specifically asked for us all to be sitting together as it was a family ocassion. When we arrived, they seemed to have forgot the booking (or else had us placed on different tables). Within 5 minutes, they gave us an option of tables and had everything sorted quickly. The menu was good and varied. The food was good, starters went great, although with such a large table, there seemed to be some confusion on the main courses and some dishes were delayed, but were all lovely when they did arrive. The only down side was on the desserts, 2 of us ordered cheesecake and when we tasted it, it was clearly gone off. There was no issue with taking these off the bill and we were offered alternative desserts. All in all, the evening was enjoyable, food and service was good and we will probably return although probably in a smaller group.
