Dillingers, Ranelagh

Dillinger’s is situated in the heart of Ranelagh village, Dublin 6. Our American influenced food is not precious. It’s fun, punchy, generous and all about flavour. As part of our wine list we import three decent Italian house wines to give you better value per glass or bottle. We do great cocktails too. Hope to see you soon!

Pass by Dillinger regularily by car and have had it on my list of places to try. There is a great buzz about this place, place was pretty full and great banter, however would not be rushing back. Pork belly fatty, needs to be cooked slower & longer, had the burger which was fine. My wife had a fish special which was fine and a nice bottle of French wine. It was a quick bite & not a special night out but the bill came to €80 approx, expensive for what it was

Great casual dining spot, always go for the rib eye here as it is so well cooked. Staff are helpful and very polite, I like the restaurant and it's cosiness, I guess some might find it cramped but its part of the design. I like it.

I was looking forward to visiting Dillingers after reading the many positive reviews, unfortuntly I must have visited the wrong Dillingers! I had Tuna starter and swordfish for main. The Tuna was a very small portion, but the swordfish was cremated within a casket of seasoning. Cheesecake lacked sweetness but that maybe because my taste buds had been fried from the swordfish. The restaurant is cramped with little room between tables. Understaffed on the nite and it was hard to get service. Very expensive for what you got. Definitly not impressed !
