Keshk Cafe Restaurant 4.5 star review: Went back to Keshk recently for a birthday party and had an absolutely fantastic night. All the food was up to the usual high standard and the service was flawless and very efficient for our table of 21. The staff were incredibly friendly and very hard working. Best hoummous I've had in a good while. This place remains on of my firm favourites.

Keshk Cafe Restaurant 3.5 star review: We went there in a group of 4 on Friday night. We booked a table at 7pm and were immediately informed on our arrival that they would need the table back at 9pm. We understand this but it is a bit annoying not to be told in advance. The staff were very efficient, to the point of trying to clear our food while we were still eating on two occasions. The Baba ghanoush and grilled chicken were both delicious and so was the moussaka and baklava. The restaurant is a little stark inside but is very busy so it has a lot of atmosphere. It is a great affordable find with good tasty food. I would definitely go back!

Keshk Cafe Restaurant 5.0 star review: Ive been here on a few occasions, last Friday being the most recent. Five of us booked a table and brought our bottles of wine along. If you dont like this type of food, just dont bother going, because this really is authentic and tasty and different! If you do however, the food is to die for! The Falafel is amazing for veggies. I have also had the Maghmour, which is yum. Some of our table had grilled lamb, which looked lovely and they all enjoyed. Its so reasonably priced, you cant go wrong. If I had to pick a down side - its loud when busy. It wouldnt be somewhere to bring your elderly mother! But honestly, its worth a visit.

Keshk Cafe Restaurant 5.0 star review: This was the second time I have been to this restaurant. I brought along 3 friends who had not been before. We could not fault a single thing. The restaurant was full, both up and downstairs, yet nothing was too much trouble. The atmosphere was buzzy and the food excellent as before. The baked Prawns were exceptional!

Keshk Cafe Restaurant 1.0 star review: Seems that BYOB is the main feature that keeps this restaurant afloat-

I booked a table for 17 people before going out in town to have a bite to eat. I had emailed the menus to friends during the week to give them idea of the food. There would be a mix of people skipping starters and maybe 2 starters as a main course and so on...

They provided set menus on the table already for €27.00 per person, but not everyone wanted all the courses and it was also limited.
This issue didn't bother me as much as the way that it was handled.
I asked for the a-la-carte menus, but the head waitress was insistant that it had to be the set menu and that I was told this over the phone.

I said that there was no mention of this otherwise I wouldn't have booked the restaurant or let my party know in advance. Also, it isn't mentioned on the website and if it is, it is hidden well.

After the waitress had spoken to the manager, she came back and said she would take €1 off the price and also that the manager was 'pissed off'?????.

. I wanted to speak to the manager about this as they were 'pissed off', but I was told they were busy and she didn't have a great attitude. She didn't really seem apologitic at all.

Coming from working in restaurants for years as a manager/supervisor and handling every issue known to man, in my experience couldn't be handled worse. I couldn't sit down and enjoy myself afterwards and they didn't give the table much attention after the issue.

Everything I had issues with was said in more than a reasonable manner and tone and the waitress couldn't be more defensive/semi-aggresive. She just didn't listen or understand my point of view.

Had the supervisor/manager not tried to squeeze the extra €7 per person, there would have been 17 satisfied customers going back and also recommending friends and family and an extra generous tip. Their stubborness cost the business in hard times when they were wrong in the first place.

Keshk Cafe Restaurant 5.0 star review: Best value, delicious food and good friendly service; you can't do better.
Having been a regular in the old location Mespil is a more pleasant fit out with better quality furnishings, but all else is the same.
Try the wonderful prawns as a starter followed by any of the dishes as Mustapha Egyptian by birth but with superb Lebanese culinary skills offers an array of delicious and varied dishes.
I like to go for a late lunch, my last visit was when 12 met for lunch, prior to that six and next week we shall be two,it does not matter the service care and food will be the same.
It may be busy but you can still have a good time as a couple.
The added advantage is you can BYO wine without a corkage charge which greatly reduces the bill and improves the quality of your wines.
Don't forget to add a generous amount in your tip for the "free" wine, you still get the service.
Price.... it will generally work out about €25 per person and that will be hard to beat anywhere in Dublin allowing for the quality ambiance and service.
Tell Annetta "sea4bees" sent you.

Keshk Cafe Restaurant 4.0 star review: this is close to my work so i go there for lunch sometimes when i feel i want something healthy besides a sandwich or thai food or a salad. its great for lunch, wouldnt go there for dinner though ( lacks the atmosphere). the food is simple , straight forward and nice. nothing fancy and no bells or whistles. the prices are great too. i like their vegetarian dishes, the okra and maghmour. its a great change for lunch. their spicy potato cubes are good too

Keshk Cafe Restaurant 3.5 star review: Came here for a birthday party and were seated downstairs which was lovely. Modern restaurant look about it. We brought our own bottles of wine in, upon which seemed to cause some hassle to the waitress. Im not sure but she seemed to be having a bad night, she mixed up the food orders and then denied that she did and forgot the wine and when we asked she continued to say she will bring it shortly only to be left waiting for twenty mininutes. Cannot complain about the food though, it was fantastic and really good taste but the service really let me down, will i be back?? i just dont know

Keshk Cafe Restaurant 5.0 star review: ate here with a group, great value, and byob which is always a good thing. very friendly staff, the only thing was that we were rushed out of it after our meal as the restaurant had a later booking, and the place is quite small, so i would recommend going for the later sitting if you don't have anywhere to be after

Keshk Cafe Restaurant 5.0 star review: This place is amazing!! It had been recommended to us by friends who couldn't stop raving about the place and food specially about the lamb chops! The service is excellent and you're made to feel very important as soon as you arrive. The restaurant is quite small, but very cosy and cool. Definitely book well in advance, because it may be very busy!!!

The bill was very reasonable for the amount of food we had and it was my first time to bring my own favorite wine to restaurant, which i think is great idea. Can't recommend this place enough!
