Madina Desi Curry Co, City Centre North

Taste of the Sufi's! We were the first ASIAN and HALAL food retail in the North Inner City Dublin. We introduced many ethnic products for the growing multi-ethnic minorities in Dublin & Ireland. Due to this authentication and dedication, we were awarded the best curry in Ireland. In 2006, we opened our "Madina Desi Curry Co." at 60 Mary Street which is a non-alcoholic restaurant. We sell the taste of Desi traditional and original home made currys, biryanis and for the first time in Ireland, we introduced "Masalla Dosa & Idli".

Was looking for somewhere cheap and cheerful for a group of 6 of us and this totally hit the spot. Since I've been here a few times, I know their portion sizes so between 6 of us, we got 4 mains and a couple of sides, with rice and naan bread. We had the spicy chicken tikka, the spicy channa masala, the mutter paneer, aloo paneer and the Bhindi Bhaji. It was all so delicious

Late night dinner with two friends. My first, yet not last, visit. Food is excellent. A lot of good choices. The prices are very recession-friendly and the portions generous. It doesn't look like much from the outside, though don't let that fool you. We all had a Mango Lassi each to drink with the meal, which suited the food very well (no alcohol served, which I think is a good idea as the food is the centrepiece). The service is friendly, chatty and prompt. I'll definitely come back for more.

I haven't been to this place for ages. But that day we are hungry and decided to have dinner here.I ordered a chicken biryani. The rice taste good.I love the gravy/soup that come with Biryani. It taste like a lentils soups but really nice which is surprised me as I don't like lentils soup. However, the Biryani didn't come with any salad.Just rice, chicken&gravy. We have to pay extra for the salad. Overall experience is good.
