I went to the ceader tree a very long time ago and remembered it was a very busy lunch hour and thats what stopped me going back again, however i couldnt stop myself and i love lebenese cuisine and brought my friend back for lunch here on monday. it was just before 1 and still quiet, the waiter was so pleasant and we ordered our food. my friend had the special starter and main + drink while i had the wrap and drink. service was quick, and her starter came out, it was a lebenese bread stuffed with meat and had a salad. then came our mains. i had the falafel wrap, and my friend had the falafel main which came with tahini sauce, bread and salad, My wrap was amazing it had everything my friend had and the falafels were cooked to perfection and not too dry like i had in some places. apart from the food and service the atmosphere was very relaxed and we sat for ages even after we finished. great value for money cant wait to go back! also for any muslims reading this, the food is halal :)

Ate here on Friday with 5 girlfriends. It was my first time eating here, some of the girls had eaten here before and loved it so much they wanted to come back..ok, here is my HONEST opinion...atmosphere was nice, the place is decked out in lots of golds and reds but I felt it was a little bit too tight where we were put (down the stairs, very back of the room). We were all starving so ordered lots of starters - these were delicious - cucumber in mint yogurt, hummus, some sort of aubergine hummus, falafel, spicy sausage - all yum. By the time the mains came, we were all pretty stuffed but made a good attempt to finish. I got the chicken skewers with side salad - salad was a bit too wet, chicken was lovely though. 4 of the girls got veggie dishes and were all very happy , another got the spicy prawns and really enjoyed it too. This is where it goes a bit wrong for me...the service just wasnt that great. I had to ask the waiter twice for another bottle of wine and when he finally managed to bring it to us, it was about 10 minutes after I had asked him the second time. He spent most of his night chatting to people who I presumed were friends/family...anyways, the really sexy bellydancer was great! Bit awkwared when you are stuffing falafel in your mouth but a nice addition....overall, it cost about €45 each, including tip. This also included 3 bottles of wine, a baileys and two desserts.

visited here for 1st time with 3 others. I had hoummous for starters with nice warm bread, it was lovely. Others had arayess and tabouleh. For mains we had mixed meshwe, beef shawarma & chicken kafta. All were excellent, this was followed by Lebonese coffee and 3 normal coffees and a bachlava, traditional dessert yumm yumm..... The service was very good when we were there they just forgot about 1 side dish and the waitress was all apologetic. It was fairly full when we arrived but by the time we left approx 9pm it was packed. Would def visit again!
