Wrights Cafe Bar 5.0 star review: Myself, my husband, his brother and his wife ate here for lunch on Sunday. I was eager to try the steak deal they have on offer (€10 for steak, chips and onion rings!)- as I heard it was excellent and indeed it was! The deserts were fab too! Everything we had was delicious! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The service was excellent, the staff was very attentive and I would definitely recommend this cafe bar to friends for lunch or dinner!

Wrights Cafe Bar 2.0 star review: Went in today for a bite to eat - our first visit (2 of us).

Asked waiter if they did chile sauvignon blanc, as there was no drinks menu to hand, was told just New Zealand, so had sparkling water instead.

We ordered 1 starter of potato skins, and they took over 20 mins to arrive!

One of our mains came out, followed by the other 5-10 mins later....the kitchen was very slow to produce food and the waiting staff were very apologetic-wasn't their fault, but they obviously knew kitchen wasn't efficient today.

The roast beef was cut extremely thick and very pink in places - not great.

After seeing a drinks menu on another table, we had a look and sure enough they do chile sauvignon blanc!! but at this point we were just fed up, paid and left.

First and only visit unfortunately.

Wrights Cafe Bar 3.0 star review: Getting more and more dissapointed with Wrights. Christmas experience brought goats cheese on a dish that was on the menu as morzerrla because " chef had no morzerrla left". Unable to stand even the smell of goats cheese and 8 months pregnant the dish was returned and I left with an empty stomach. The time before that- also pregnant- my "well done " steak was returned twice for mooing at me, given my fellow diners were finished eating by the time I got it back the second time, still red, I ate what I could and left about 6 of the 8 ounces on the plate. Willing to give it another go as staff are always friendly and it's a nice atmosphere. Our latest visit saw my hubbie order his favourite- chilli chicken noodles - only for them to arrive without any chilli and very bland. In fairness the waitress was insistent on taking them back when he said they weren't great and a fresh plate arrived, spicy as hell but clearly chilli powder was used- overpowering and not the fresh chilli he was used to. The waitress mentioned on collecting the plates that they were returning to the orginal dish soon- meaning the dish had been changed but still described the same on the menu. Very dissapointing - despite the friendly service three strikes and you're out I'm afraid!

Wrights Cafe Bar 4.0 star review: This has become my favourite Friday night place to eat and drink. The special offers are great value with all mains €10. There is always music on early on, though one of the acts they regularly use is hard on the ears! The service is second to none, with all the girls friendly and extremely helpful. I don't know what the place is like on other days, but the atmosphere on Fridays is always great. All in aall, a great friendly place with great value and excellent service. I would totally reco, mmend to check it out.

Wrights Cafe Bar 3.0 star review: I ate here with a group of 20 friends as part of the hen package on offer which includes accommodation, dinner and dancing. We were seated at a long table which meant you could only chat with those people immediately beside you. The menu no longer matched what was advertised through their website, with much less choice, in particular the nsai goreng is no longer available. I ate the potato skins which were evry tasty and the fish and chips, greasy but edible!! The cocktails and complimentary glass of prosecco helped wash the food down. I couldnt eat the apple crumble as it was laced with far too much cinnomon. The service was slow, the bar tenders not particularly friendly but for a bit of soakage before a big night out it siffuced!!

Wrights Cafe Bar 2.0 star review: Myself and my partner used eat here at least once a week for the past three years, in the last three months, it's risen slightly above the takeaway.

Service is usually fast, but the food is dreadful. the menu has changed at least three times since September, the portions have shrunk, and the food is nowhere near as good as it was.

The only good thing is that it's caused us to look elsewhere for places to eat out and there are lots of good alternatives in Swords that we've found!

Wrights Cafe Bar 2.5 star review: Dont eat here unless you like COLD food, COLD plates and Fast food.

We used to like this place as the menu was interesting, the food was tasty and decent value too.
Recently things have changed for the worst. The menu is an A4 page now. Fine if its good food however its not. Its pretty much fast food now. They are really cutting back and I doubt they even have a real chef now. the table beside us sent there food back as it was cold and the chips reheated, Ours was the same. Id still go for a pint there but wont be eating here again. Go back to a real menu. Serve the food hot and cook it fresh. Dont microwave food. Reminds me of a poor Gordon Ramsey hells kitchen tv set up that needs his help badly!!

Wrights Cafe Bar 1.0 star review: We have eaten here a number of times recently and the food and service were very good. However, we went there today to be told that there was at least a half an hour wait for food (we didn't mind if the quality remained the same) - it didn't and the service was very bad. After waiting approx, 50 mins we got warm mash with our food which was microwave hot and NOT freshly cooked. We told the waitress who didn't seem bothered. When we were asked if everything was OK we told them in no uncertain terms that it was not even OK and we wouldn't be back we were offered a coffee - on the house I don't even know if it was but I certainly wasn't staying any longer than I had to...NOT going back in a hurry!
