Brascos Restaurant 2.5 star review: Firstly the positives - lovely location and some nice food. I had heard great reviews on this restaurant however it did not live up to expectation. This was the second time I have visited this establishment and unfortunately I won't be returning. The food is nice however there is definitely better value early bird menus available and the €10 supplement for a steak is a little steep. Finally the service was very slow throughout and at one stage we waited for almost 20 minutes after our main course for a waitress to take our order. I could understand if they were very busy but the restaurant wasn't even half full. I could understand if it was a one off however I experienced similar disorganised service was I visited this restaurant about a year ago.

Brascos Restaurant 1.5 star review: Two of us had the surf' n' turf burger. There was large bits of grizzle in the burger of which neither of us finished. The waiter asked if the burgers were ok as we had left over half on the plate and we told him about the large lumps of grizzle. He apologised half heartedly. My mother had the fish and chips which she said were nice. The bill came to €67 for three lunchs. We werent offered a replacement for the burgers or even offered a free coffee. As we were leaving we heard another table make a complaint about large pieces of unedible fat in the burger. Definately wouldnt recommend.

Brascos Restaurant 4.5 star review: Went here on Saturday night for a family meal. There were 6 of us. We had booked a table upstairs, which was ready when we arrived 15 minutes early. We were given a very warm welcome and showed to our table, which was a bit tight for space. The menu was great and the food was absolutely amazing! I could personally recommend the crab cakes which were to die for! However, the main course was a big let down. Whilst the food was absolutely delicious, for the price you pay, there's not much of it. There was only 4 portions of potatoes and 1 portion of veg brought out between the 6 of us and the chicken, which I had, was very small... The waitress was brilliant and even put a candle on my dad's dessert as she heard it was his birthday. Would definitely go back, but probably have early bird next time...

Brascos Restaurant 4.0 star review: Myself and the OH had the Early Bird Menu, food was wonderful with a couple of small niggles ,Handcut chips destroyed with salt and cheesecake lacking in cheese.
However , those minor points couldn't detract from the overall high quality of the food, its taste and presentation.
Fishcakes were a joy,Jumbeliah was magnificent and the sea bass was just perfect.
Small but very well chosen wine list and very keenly priced.
Staff were very friendly, though somewhat inexperienced, would suggest not using the phrase "are yiz finished".
Excellent value with great potential, would consider it a work in progress but will definitley be back.

Brascos Restaurant 5.0 star review: It's great to see this building back in use again.
We've been in twice since Brasco's opened. Beautiful seafood in particular.
The surf and turf burger is great. The scampi you get along with it are delicious.
The first time I visited I was a little confused why, considering the attention to detail and effort put into the food, they were serving frozen chips. I'm delighted to report that they have since moved to handcut chips, lovely!
Also, the service is really friendly and warm, great spot!

Brascos Restaurant 5.0 star review: I hadn't heard of Brascos until Saturday which is strange because i have frequented there rivals along the pier numerous times over the last 9 months since they opened,They are hidden slightly around the corner so your eye doesn't catch them when your looking up the pier.
But credit were credit is due this is one of the best meals i have had all year, i cant believe i haven't heard about this place the staff were great and friendly with the head hostess been particularly honest about our choices.
A lot of work went into our food and you get the feeling this is the start of something great from this chef so keep it up your efforts where not wasted on us.
The early bird menu looks interesting so it wont be long before i am back but i can't recommend this place enough, enjoy!

Brascos Restaurant 5.0 star review: My friends and I had heard about Brasco's and decided to try it , I have eaten in most the restaurants in Skerries, but nothing compared to the homemade Dublin bay scampi that I got , it was amazing (have no idea what they were coated in ) but were divine (what's the secret coating ? ) my friends had fillet steak cooked to perfection and the biggest black sole I have ever seen .the staff were friendly and efficient , I looked over the early bird also and a great selection for €16.95... I will be back to try ..
