This was our first visit and found this restaurant more or less comparable to the 2 other Indian / Eastern restaurants in the area. The restaurant was quiet for a Sunday evening which is a pity because the interior is lovely and a few more customers would add to the atmosphere - at one point during our meal the background music was switched off and the silence was deafening! This scarcely takes away from the excellent staff and delicious food however. The early bird choice is limited (I think this is standard for any Indian/Eastern restaurant!) but the food is very very nice. The buttery chicken dish is particularly delicious. We didnt look at the a la carte menu but what we had we very much enjoyed, and 19.95 for 2 courses including naan bread and rice is excellent value. We will definitely go back.

I was in Mirchi on Saturday night, got a booking for 730 and still qualified for the early bird, which was super value. The choice on the early bird was great for the price. It came out to us in perfect time and couldnt be faulted. If there was anything i could say, it would be we had to ask for the desert menu though we had finished out mains at least 25 mins. Will be recommending and going back.
