We were greeted by a friendly waiter who handed us the menus as soon as we entered the bar. It has the usual type of pub menu but with a good standard of food. We ordered cod and chips and chowder and both were presented in large tasty portions. It's a quiet pub with lots of locals in for a chat and a pint of Guinness with a friendly service. Perfect for a quick bite to eat at lunch or after work

I have eaten here many times over the past few months, Found the food very good and usually have the burger or steak. Last week before the game I had the carvery was also nice. Will be back here again for sure.
