Always like to call in here when in the botanic gardens. Nice relaxing place to meet up with friends and have a coffee. Love their cakes. Staff always have a smile for you.

This is a lovely, bright and airy restaurant. We went in looking forward to coffee after a long walk in the Botanic Gardens. There was a queue so we waited until it had abated. We ordered and paid for a slice of pavlova, a coffee and a mineral. I asked the cashier to check the bill as I thought €9 to be a bit steep for what we got.She checked and assured me that it was indeed right - the pavlova cost €4.50. We sat down to enjoy this rather expensive treat. The coffee was very bitter and the pavlova, garnished with a single strawberry slice, at best, very average. I will not return.

went for lunch here with 2 friends. we found the menu a little hard to read (blackboard above food) . anyway i ordered a quiche and salad and the two others ordered wraps with salad. the portions we had were huge as we got a choice of 3 salads and i had to ask the girl behind counter to only give me a small amount as she was pilling on the food. the lady at the till was very chatty also and remarked that we wouldnt have room for dessert after ,she was right. im glad they have improved the food here as it used to be awful as i had eaten here a couple of years ago. it wasnt expensive either so deffo would go back next time we are in the gardens.
