Popped in for lunch on a Saturday... they do excellent lunch deals. Great value. The food really hits the spot. Great felafel and hummous. Cosy with a nice atmosphere and a friendly waitress and it actually works out cheaper than some of the takeaway or 'fast-foody' type places nearby with similar middle eastern food. I would definitely have lunch at the Cedar Tree again.

Shared a Beirut Platter for €25, total feast. It gives you what u want from a restaurant- great food you wouldn't get to eat at home - and all with a nice exotic atmosphere, and friendly and attentive servers.

Sunday afternoon dinner at the cedar tree was a real treat. The afternoon menu has a generous selection for bargain prices. The food is authentic and if you like moroccan/lebanese then the Cedar tree is the first stop in Dublin.

Third time to visit. I hadn't been for ages and I'm glad I went back. Service was pleasant throughout. Foodwise both myself and my friend chose a lamb pastry for starter which was very tasty. My sister had hummus which she enjoyed. I had falafel for mains whilst my friend had kebabs my sister opting for squid. All of us enjoyed our mains. I had a honey cream filled pastry desert which was lovely. The atmosphere was a tad quiet. All in all a lovely meal and I would both return and recommend a visit here.

Again, i am from the middle east and the food here is great. i am a foodie and i only go to 2 restaurants in Dublin if i am looking for Middle Eastern food. this is one of them.
the last i was there, i was with a big gang and we had the most fabulous spread of appetisers...just as good as you get in Beirut or Damascus. it was delicious!...better than any other time i have been in the Cedar Tree. so i thought i have to leave a review this time. the service is always good, polite and nice. the only thing that lacks in the restaurant i think is the atmosphere...its missing something but when i had a great company, it didnt matter but i wish they put an effort into creating a special atmosphere as the food definitely deserves it.

Have wanted to try the Cedar Tree for a long time so family decided to try for Sunday lunch. Was a bit worried about what to order but our waiter was so helpful. Decided to try 3 different starters & mains so that we could try different things. The beautiful spices were a pleasure and the food did not dissapoint. Even my teenage daughter could not complain. Lovely desserts to finish off. €16.95 for 3 courses, really good. Will definatly return for an evening meal, but its advisable to book as its always busy.

Arrived here on Saturday for the lunchtime deal. The place was fairly empty so there wasn't much of an atmosphere at all but I did find the style of the place quite nice. I got the Arrayess which was very tasty and beef Shawarma, both of which were very tasty. My girlfriend got the Mezze Veg, which tasted nice but she wasn't too impressed with. The dish itself was basically a number of reincarnations of the Chick Pea so she was a little disappointed. Overall a good experience but will be staying well away from the mediocre vegetarian option. May return
