Saba 2.0 star review: Starter of duck was tasteless, the potatoes in my massamam curry were like rubber which I pointed out to the waiter when we are asked if everything was ok, that was the last we saw of that waiter, no apology or explanation! Mojito after dinner actually tasted like there was no alcohol. On the whole very disappointing ad a quick tip to the staff, don't ask if everything was ok unless you really care about what the answer is!

Saba 3.5 star review: We went there on Saturday night for a 30th birthday party dinner. The place was really busy with a few other birthday parties but the service was fast. We ordered from the CHOKDEE 3 COURSE DINNER MENU €34.95 PER PERSON which is ok value but might be just as well to order separately from the A la carte menu as some of us didn't order dessert. 4 of us ordered the massamam curry, my girlfriend ordered one of the wok dishes and a friend ordered the swordfish. For dessert, there was a choice of icrecream or chocolate tart. The food was really good and Saba has something for everybody's taste.

Saba 1.5 star review: Like a death throe, obituary to follow? Simply saddening. Table for 5 in a half-empty pop-music filled space. Lunch. Spring rolls often a good benchmark for what was to follow. Here they made you yearn for a LIDL microwaveable version. Mains (I won't even bother to say what they were) were tired, massively over-salted (?MSG too) sloppy messes. I pitied the food-such a sad way to go. The very pleasant waitress looked on apologetically. I see the high ratings from earlier in the year. What has happened?

Saba 2.5 star review: A group of us had dinner here and we were disappointed. Hoi sin duck rolls, were flat and tasteless, next i had the steak, which was so full of fat and grizzle i couldn't eat it. My guests had Panang beef and the fillet and agreed it wasn't up to much and another had the Bo. We all had rice sides and a few bottles of wine. The meal was below average and we left hungry and quite out of pocket. Service wasn't even that great. Would not recommend this restaurant as there are so many better ones for better value. Won't be back.

Saba 4.5 star review: I live near saba to go and am a huge fan, haven't been to the restaurant in about two years. I had the duck pancakes for starter which were really good and vegetable yellow curry for main, was surprised that the food from saba to go taste way better, thought it would be the other way around! So I was a bit disappointed, it was still quiet good didn't have as much flavour as usual. I had the brownie for desert and it was good but not as yummy as a brownie can be. I wouldn't go here for dinner again I would just get the take out...cheaper too!

Saba 5.0 star review: Four of us went for dinner in Saba for my daughter's birthday last Sunday, was really looking forward to this as heard great reports regarding this restaurant. The place itself is really lovely with great lighting and a great atmosphere. We had the set menu for 24 euro and it is great value. Had duck rolls, chicken wings and calamari for starters all of which was delicious and great portions. Then the hake, yellow prawn curry and beef for mains, again really nice food. Barely managed to have the desert which was chocolate brownie, chocolate tart or portion of ice cream as we were all quite full. My own criticism would be the staff, we had one smart/grumpy waiter but he didnt ruin the experience for us, hopefully next time we will get a nicer waiter/waitress because we will return.

Saba 4.0 star review: Had dinner here with a group of friends and found it to have much improved since my last visit.
They had a really good value 3 course set menu for 24euro when I went. I had the Satay Gai for starters and a Yellow Prawn Curry and both were delicious and perfectly cooked. Portions were generous as well, the curry was stuffed full of massive juicy prawns.
Saba cater very well for coeliacs and vegetarians, with everything clearly marked on the menu and knowledgeable staff. The service was fine, we weren't waiting too long for food but we didn't feel rushed either.
The atmosphere was ok but very noisy - we almost had to shout across the table to be heard. It's fine for a group of friends but there are probably more romantic places to go on a date.
Overall, we had a great night and everyone left satisfied - will be back!

Saba 5.0 star review: Had a group 'Going back to Oz' night for a relative here last night. Lovely cuisine served here with duck rolls & satay chicken starters cooked to perfection.Mains of yellow prawn curry & thai noodles went down a treat ! The staff were most attentive without being obtrusive.
