As you know “Dobbins” has been going for over 25 years now but alas gone with the old and in with the “New Dobbins”. The interior has changed but the ambiance and character still remains, our food, service and wine list is as good as ever, and are still an integral part of the restaurant with a wonderful new series of exciting menus.
In the refurbishment we have created a new Private Dining Room which is also available for small meetings and ideal for small wedding events.
In our design of the newly refurbished Dobbins Restaurant we hope we have created an exciting interior concept as you step inside to our Fully stocked bar.
There is a garden area at the back of the Restaurant and we have used a lot of care and attention to create and retain the style and ambiance that Dobbins is renowned for.

Service was first class and very friendly. Food was excellent. The "best" creme brulee my husband ever had! and he has had a lot. Will definitely will be back. Have already recommended a romantic birthday dinner evening here which my sister said was excellent.

Great food, great staff, great service, only down side was the noisy lady at the next table who loved the sound of her own voice and i couldn't hear my wife talking because of it!!

Two rib eye steaks that were melt in the mouth and a sticky toffee pudding that looked too pretty to eat. Delicious food, beautifully presented and pleasant atmosphere . Loved it.

Had a wonderful Sunday lunch with my BFF. Absolutely delightful staff that very kindly packed up my dessert because I just couldn't eat another bite. I've been to Dobbins many times. It's truly very special and the food is wonderful!

We had a meal out with 2 friends in Dobbins and throughally enojoyed it. It has been a long time since I was there and I enjoyed it. I did find that conservatory a little lacking in atmosphere and it was incredibly hot but the food made up for it. I had the crab and the lamb and I would recommend both,. I will be going back, soon, I hope!

Always excellent! Dinner for 2 (availing of a Menupages voucher) was delicious. Both of us went for the early bird menu. Chorizo salad for me (very rich flavours)and avocado and asparagus salad for my companion for starter. Steak for the 2 of us for mains (both cooked to perfection). Desserts were fabulous.
Highly recommended. I've been there a good few times and food and service are always exceptional. A bit pricey but it is well woth it

I booked my meal with a voucher so I was a little wary going in as to if we would receive a top quality meal. I didn't have to worry at all. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the foie gras to start and the pork belly for the main. Both were beautifully presented. The only fault I had was with the foie gras which was a little tasteless. Still yummy though! The pork melted in my mouth and there was a beautiful strip of crackling on top. My sisters had the chicken salad and the prawns to start and one had steak while the other also had the pork belly. They enjoyed their food as much as I enjoyed mine. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

went for lunch with 2 friends food is excellent and standards are just as high if not higher than when i worked in the kitchen {bout 10 years ago].Decor is very different since then but a lot more modern but still a very inviting entrance into the restaurant.Hope to be back soon.
