When they opened the first Carluccio’s caffe their aim was to provide great quality, authentic Italian food at sensible prices. They also wanted to allow informal but excellent service to their customers. The aims remain the same today.
We do our best to create a memorable experience in a happy bustling environment. Located on the corner of Dawson St. and Duke St. in the heart of Dublin's most fashionable shopping area. Open throughout the day for breakfast, morning coffee, lunch, a shopping pit stop or a three-course meal with wine in the evening, the striking 170-cover caffé is spread over two floors with al fresco seating.

4.5 Carluccio's Caffe 4.5 star review:
Had a wonderful evening here with a large group of friends. The serving staff were absolutely great - so friendly. While the menu was very "traditional" italian and at first glance didn't appear to have any of the more "Irish-Italian" dishes I'd normally go for, I was delighted to be challenged to try something a little bit different and perhaps out of my comfort zone. The food was absolutely delicious and great value for money - in particular the set menu. Would definitely return. A great family/group place.

I was looking for somewhere to eat on a Saturday night and ended up booking a table at Carluccio's not knowing much about the place.
I have to say I was extremely pleased with our experience there. The food was fantastic. We had the big sharing platter between the 2 of us to start which was packed full of great tastes - my wife commented that it was almost too much!
Mains were just as good and the wine list seemed well stocked too! Tiramasu for dessert topped it off and the service we were treated to was top notch as well.
Very pleased, will definitely be going back and the price while high, was reasonable for what you got and how you were served!

A place to eat or catchup up with friends, nice place and busy spot. Food tends to be good, have specials. Two of us ate here and after waiter spending time reviewing wines we selected a nice bottle of red and both had seafood pasta. Pasta on this occasion was a little disappointing not a lot of flavor but have had good food here on other occasions. Price range moderate. Service generally good.

Had lunch here Sunday with my brother, his wife and little girl and my other half. Was fab, staff were friendly and helpful, especially with the little one and the food was delicious. A tad pricey but worth and nice bright place to go on a Sunday afternoon. Loved it.

very disappointing as i have been to one in London which was very good.
one of our party's food was cold and prawns were raw, my meatballs were rock hard and could hardly be cut with the knife.
the other guys in our party had the pasta and that was fine.
expensive enough for inadequate food and only one main course was removed from bill when two were returned uneaten

Had lunch there one Friday, the pasta was good and al dente but lacked a little flavour. The starter was deep fried mozeralla - was good but again could have had more flavour. Overall not bad and better then most italian restaurants in Dublin. Point on the service - the waiter laughed at me when I asked if he had a lunch menu which I found slightly condecending as most restuarants in Dublin do a lunch menu and prices for lunch could be lower as are in many other good restaurants I have lunch in.

2.0 Carluccio's Caffe 2.0 star review:
A group of four of us went here on a Tuesday Night with a reservation at 8pm. On arrival we were warmly welcomed and shown the two menus. One a la carte and the other a set menu for very good value, the problem was the dishes decribed on the set menu were very sub standard. and all four of us chose from the A La Carte instead. I can only speak for myself but I had the calamari to start which is my favourite. A large portion came out on a plate with zero dressing or dip. When i asked the waiter for a dip he said all he had was mayonaise which ruined any flavour they had. For main I had the Chicken & Spinach risotto which was bland and very stodgy. Between courses the waiter would not wait for all parties to be finished, so when my partner and I were finished he took our plates while our friends were still eating. Completely uneccessary! The final straw was when after order 3 desserts, the waiter brought the wrong one out to my partner! The restaurant was not even half full and there was no sign of anyone coming in after us however as soon as we got our desserts we also got handed the bill. I love dining out in Dublin but this was the worst service I have experienced. I would not recommend Carluccios at all. They should stick to their day trade as a Cafe!

Called in for early dinner with friends, lovely atmosphere. Service was a little slow but overall very pleasant. Food was good however the pasta was a little more al dente than we would have liked. Good value menu but wine is little expensive.
