My family enjoyed a birthday meal here for a party of 7. I made use of a voucher from menu pages which entitled us to 1 free dinner. Food came in big portions although if I were to eat here again I wouldn't order the monk fish as it contained more veg than fish. Everyone else was happy with their dinner options. Staff were efficient though they could be a little friendlier and warmer. Value wise it was okay. Will return here at a later date.

I used a menupages voucher for two swift lunch courses to meet a friend here for lunch. The service in particular was absolutely excellent, they were so friendly and helpful - it really makes a difference to the experience you have in a restaurant when the service is so good. The food was also really good - huuuggge portions (I took half of my sandwich home in a doggy bag because I hadn't a chance of eating the whole thing). Great value too thanks to the voucher!

We went as a big group, and the place was hopping.
Got yummy cocktails but were a bit pricey, starting from €9.50.
I had hummus to start with. I was a bit disappointed to see only 6 tiny crackers sticking out of the plate. How was I going to eat any of the dips? Thankfully there was still some of the complimentary bread left over.
I then had the aubergine fritter for mains; I also ordered a side of chips. The fitter was ok, a bit on the greasy side and the batter was the overall taste. I don’t think the oil was hot enough as the aubergine soaked up a lot of oil. It was served on a bed rice, bean and tomato sauce and also had a salad, delicious.
The chips came out stacked! All 8 of them!! Some were cooked, some weren’t.
Four from our party had to send back they’re mains back twice, the Salmon was not cooked all the way through, so a few uncooked chips were the least of the worries.
But in fairness the manager came over and apologised and gave free cocktails to the four people the first time the mains were sent back and then wine for the second time, we were waiting quite a while. In the end, they all went for a vegetarian option as they were starving and then a wee bit tipsy. They didn’t charge us for the four mains.
Overall the general consensus of the table was we would go back again but maybe a bit earlier as the delay with the food was a bit annoying and delayed us for the rest of the night.

3.0 Brasserie Sixty6 3.0 star review:
Had last visited this restaurant over three years ago. It was expensive back then and still is, and the portions have decreased considerably. The prawns and crab claws were certainly the smallest ones I’ve ever eaten. Nonetheless they were cooked to perfection, and the meal presentation was very pleasing to the eye. Also presented beautifully were the chunky chips which accompanied my meal, all six of them, stacked high, in lots of two! They tasted delicious (just like your Mammy would make) but six chips is a ridiculous amount to serve with any meal, and the prices in this restaurant are certainly not cheap. Having said that the meal was very good, water glasses were refilled regularly for us, and our waitress was very attentive. Don’t think we’ll be rushing back though. Compared to our last visit, there was something missing this evening, but can’t identify exactly what.

I have been there twice in the last few weeks with two work colleagues and was very impressed with their food - I had the Lemon & Garlic chicken fillet with crispy pancetta, rocket pesto and mash and it was delicious! On the following week I had the Pork and Leek sausage with herb mashed potatoes, red onion marmalade and rich gravy - again very impressed and each dish cost only 10 euro! This restaurant is one of my favourites in Dublin.

Too many cocktails!
We had heard about the half price cocktails on tuesdays and decided to have a girly night and take advantage. We arrived early, 3 of us and all had pre-theatre which was 21.90. Food was gorgeous and we all sampled each others...it was one of those nights where we were passing the plates around the table. We all had...a least 4 cocktails each...i think we managed to try all different ones lol...and each one was so delicious. I would happily recommend to go here to anyone...staff are so happy and helpful and the food is best around. bill for 3 of us came to €130ish for dinner and 4 cocktails each...Brilliant!

Maybe it was a bad night to visit, but our experience was rubbish.
Sunday nights are a bit of a pain in the ass for restaurant staff as they are tired from the weekend. Our waitress certainly didn't make any effort with us to be friendly or accommodating.
When we arrived, we expressed an interest in sitting away from the door and further into the restaurant. An older lady, blonde, told us that the back section was closed off, promptly put two menus on a table and walked away. Nice.
The food was completely mediocre and expensive. They didn't even have what I wanted, which is fine, it happens, but what I did have - the prawns - were rubbery and of the frozen variety.
The service didn't improve throughout the meal (the same waitress served us all night) and we felt as though where we were sitting was on the outskirts of the activity.
It's been a while since I visited the 66 and unfortunately I won't be rushing back...
