This is by far one of the nicest Italians i've been too. The food is fantastic, especially the steak. Its always busy which off course is a good sign. Sometimes there can be a wait. The staff are very nice. Also have an excellent wine list. Whenever I am at home I always try to visit La Bella Donna. Anyone living or visiting Donegal should definatley pay this place a visit. You wont be disappointed.

We had a meal here early on saturday as we were going to a friends in kellybegs, this was my second time here and was not really impressed at all this time. The restaurant has got run down looking and needs a good clean & paint since the last time we were here. Sticky hand prints all over the wall were we sat and our table seemed to be the spot to pile up all the unwanted chairs that were not been used. "very nice" The food was ok but nothing special. Ive been told there is now an upstairs and its very nice but they really need to take a good look and ground level as its very poor. Waiter was plesent. thats about the only upside

We had no reservation and even though it was busy we were advised we would get a table in ten minutes. The restaurant had a bar area where we were able to wait and a drink was offered to us in this location. Starters I had the deep fried mozarella and my companion had the calamari. They were okay but nothing home made about them, quite obviously came out of a packet. We had pizza's for main course which were nice and I ordered a side of garlic potatoes which were lovely and the highlight of the meal. Service was fine, we also had a wobbly table which we had to rectify ourselves!
