Stopped by here for a coffee with some friends on a visit to Bundoran last week. The place itself is really nice. Modern decor and friendly atmosphere. Our server, I would guess the owner, was very friendly and helpful. We ordered a soup, scones, a sandwich and coffees. The scone was lovely and fresh and served with jam, butter and fresh cream. Really enjoyed it. My friend said the chicken and veg soup was just ok. The sandwich was very good. Our first drinks - lattes, americanos and a tea were perfect. The server was a bit slow to clear our table but we were there at lunchtime so a little delay was to be expected I suppose. After our snack we decided to try some of the coffees on the impressive speciality coffees list. Unfortuneatly they sounded alot better than they tasted. I did not enjoy my "Snickers" latte - did not remind me of a snickers at all, tasted alot more like a latte with hazelnut syrup. The "Blizzard" a cappuchino with a scoup of ice cream just ended up like a cold coffee but the Mint latte was excellent. At 3euro each we were dissappointed that our special coffees didn't hit the mark but I would however, call again for the lovely scones, the friendly service and the nice surroundings.
