Great location, average food
The Water's Edge is in a stunning location with great views from the all-glass dining room, ample parking space and also quite ample space inside which was great with the kids. The food though is what I would only accept as average pub grub standard, despite the impressive menu offering a nice variety of seafood. The prawns were drowned in a cream sauce with a skin on it and the fish & chips batter had the consistency of an omlette. For that it is actually quite expensive, charging roughly the same prices as the nearby establishments.
