I stayed here for 3 nights, so we ate breakfast each morning had one dinner and lunch one of the afternoons. I had heard great reports of the food here from friends who had eaten here over the years. I must say I was disappointed. I found the food only ok. The flavour or quality was just not there.Service at breakfast was poor and we tried for ages to make eye contact with staff. There was one exception to this on the Sunday morning. There was a very efficient friendly girl on duty who looked like she was enjoying her work. It's such a pity given the hotels scenic location. The hotel itself is lovely and very clean. Maybe I got them on a bad weekend.
