Caseys of Baltimore 4.5 star review: Good selection of starters and all very good. Fish dishes were a bit pricey -big portions and tasty. Food was good and they are child friendly. Vegetarian was a little disappointing.

Caseys of Baltimore 4.0 star review: Nice atmosphere when we ate in this restaurant with a traditional band playing in the bar. Casey's seafood dishes are lovely but those in our party who ordered the vegetarian option or meat dishes were disappointed with their meal. It's a shame that these dishes aren't up to the standard of their seafood.

Caseys of Baltimore 2.0 star review: Booked for a party of six. The set menu appeared to have a nice choice of food. I ordered the tomato based chowder and the goat’s cheese with risotto. The chowder was more of a winter fish broth than a tomato based chowder- very tasteless. The main was served as dry risotto, with a slice of goat’s cheese on top, and burned stir fried vegetables. The main was offered with chips or salad or vegetables and potatoes. Extremely disappointing and overall very tasteless.
The service was good, and the staff were pleasant. It was a very disappointing experience and not great value for money. No plan to return there.

Caseys of Baltimore 3.0 star review: ate here on August Bank holiday saturday, place was completely mobbed so service was under pressure. Excellent mussels in cream/onion/white wine starter, then fish 'n chips, very good grilled cod with a garlic butter basting, good chips, poor coleslaw (why is coleslaw not banned?) and a decent small salad served. With 2 pints of Guinness and the view the atmosphere was fantastic!

Caseys of Baltimore 5.0 star review: Had a meal included in our 2 night midweek stay and, as expected, the seafood was fabulous. I had the mussels to start, gorgeous. I had Scampi for main course, wonderfully light batter and so fresh, I'm drooling thinking of it! Yum, yum, yum.

Caseys of Baltimore 4.0 star review: Stayed at the hotel and ate in the restaurant and it was absolutely fabulous. I went for the seafood platter and it did not disappoint delicious fresh food. My girlfriend had the lemon sole which was also lovely. The wine list was excellent as well so lots of choice for the discerning wine lover. Overall very impressed, will be back to stay and eat (and drink in their cosy little bar) in the near future.

Lamb Cutlets with Garlic, Lemon and Paprika

Why not make up a large quantity of this marinade in advance – it is wonderful with cutlets and would also work well with leg steaks or loin chops. The longer you marinate the meat for, the better the flavour!
