Ristorante Rossini 4.0 star review: We went on a Grab One deal (unbelievable value!) & had a table booked for 7pm. From 8 o'clock onwards the restaurant got incredibly busy & bit frantic. I would definitely recommend an early booking.
The starter & main course was very nice & portions were large. For dessert we shared a home-made ice-cream with caramelised pine nuts. I can honestly say this was in the top 3 of desserts I have ever eaten. It was lovely and light, but very satisfying.
The atmosphere in the restaurant was very good.

Ristorante Rossini 1.5 star review: Rang to say we would be a couple of mins late for our dinner due to traffic and was assured by staff member that this was fine. Arrived 20 mins later to find table had been "given away" this is despite the fact that other people who were standing inside & outside the door on the street told us they had been waiting 30+ mins for there own table which was pre booked also. We were asked to maybe come back in 30mins and they would do us a "favour" an fit us in... over 2.+ hours later we eventually got seated. Waited 15 minutes for the table to be cleared from last customers another 15 minutes for the menu's (when arrived not enough menu's available) , 40 mins for clean cutlery to be brought out on the table, no napkins etc, over an hour for food which was in some case dangerously uncooked. No offer of apology for appalling service, food or even a bottle of wine.

People still queing at 11.15pm on the street and inside the door for there pre booked 9.30pm tables!

I think the review says it all really stuff of bad nightmares!

Ristorante Rossini 3.0 star review: Not a great dining experience at all. I used to like this place very much, although it has been two or three years since I was last there. The food was nice, not good enough for what they charge however. Mostly why I am here leaving this review is the service. Very rude/abrupt person serving us last night. Won't be going back I'm afraid

Ristorante Rossini 4.0 star review: date is wrong, i was there maybe 6 months ago.

i have been there maybe 3 times, good enough food friendly staff but very expensive in my opinion for what you get. wine is also expensive there.

also they are know to overbook and the last time i went i had to go to clancys for a pint and wait 30min when i was starving

overall i would say its fair

Ristorante Rossini 2.5 star review: I was very disappointed with Rossini's. I brought my boyfriend here on his first visit to Cork and would certainly not go back. We had a reservation but were left waiting by the door for nearly 20 minutes for a table, it was then another 10 minutes before we received menus and 40 before we received our meal! The waiter that we had did not speak English and we had to point to what we wanted on the menu. My boyfriend's food was cold when it came out but at this stage we felt there was no point in returning it. Very disappointing service

Ristorante Rossini 5.0 star review: Eat here three times a week when in cork, love Italian love French , I don't review places unless they make a Mark, but Rossini is the best in the world ,real food I can see the Sistine chapel the ruins of Rome. I can't decide which is best between here and my other favourite. Both are best in ire lee and I give them both 5* . I cook a lot at home and eat out, a lot with my job, if you want real Italian dinne here. And on a weekend night feel the buss 5* in on Thursday and love that place for lunch on my own and dinner with others

Ristorante Rossini 3.5 star review: I have been to Rossini's on several occassions, i love the atmosphere and relaxed dinning experience. We had a nice night however i fine the quality of food have gone down and too many people packed into the resturant at any one time. we had a booking and still had to wait for 30 mins standing by the door in a que.
Because Rossini's is one of my favourate resturants in Cork i hope it will be better on my next visit.

Ristorante Rossini 2.0 star review: Really disappointed with dinner here.

A few main issues:
- ordered 2 glasses of house white and they were served warm. Table next to us ordered bottle of white wine and theirs was also served warm. Waitress still poured but offered an ice bucket.
- very expensive for what's on offer. Particularly the pasta, as most options were pretty standard.
- waiter brought us receipt before we even had our dessert served. Felt rushed even though place was half empty.
.
I had bolognaise and it was just OK. A awful lot of bechamel sauce and cheese though and not much pasta or meat. Other guest had Carbonara which was tasty but was exceptionally rich, even for a carbonara.

Tables were a bit crammed as well, even though there was plenty of room.

Menu is extensive but there a lot of meals are fairly similar.

Atmosphere is great though, good vibe, and the place looks great.

Ristorante Rossini 4.0 star review: Party of 12 and we were looked after very well. There was an option of an early bird that some of the group went for, most people enjoyed it but some of them thought that there dishers were not great. Overall it was good, although most of the group found the alla carte menu to expensive for the choice available.

Ristorante Rossini 2.0 star review: We arrived without a reservation and were seated immediately although we endured a significant wait to receive menus, we should have seen this as a sign of things to come. Our seats were at a table beside the door which was left open for the duration of our stay. I didn't have any elbow space as the table was wedged in beside a lampshade. When our salads finally arrived the leaves were brown and they were missing ingredients. This was followed by another wait for our main courses which arrived without any cutlery, leaving us a couple of minutes to admire our food which was of a good standard. We skipped deserts as we felt that we had spent enough time waiting and asked for coffees and the bill. These were the only items which were brought to us speedily. The money was collected equally as fast. The toilets were dimly lit and not the best and the wine list was very basic. The set menus do however offer good value in comparison to the standard menu however we won't be in a rush back.
