Nandos Mahon Point 5.0 star review: We had the mild chicken burgers. It was different but very nice. A small bit of heat - it was good that there was a bottomless drink. But we Enjoyed it. The atmosphere and staff was very nice. Plus you get a card and it is stamped every visit and you get 1/4 put to a whole chicken (10 visits). We will be ging back.

Nandos Mahon Point 4.5 star review: Me and my partner visit Nandos quite often. We like the atmosphere, the service, and of course the food. We always get half a chicken each, which comes with two side dishes and the mixed olives for starter. Olives are a bit expensive but we both love them. As for the chicken, we find it really tasty, well cooked, and juicy, as it's supposed to be. Side dishes are nice as well. We never tried any other dishes, so I cannot comment on those. In our opinion Nandos offer the best roast chicken you can get from a restaurant on that price!

Nandos Mahon Point 4.0 star review: What can I say about Nando's? Great service. Tasty food. Won't win any Michelin stars but very enjoyable. I don't like to use a cliché but it does exactly what it says on the tin. Its predecessor in that location was certainly not up to standard so its great to have a nice place to sit down & eat if you don't wish to go to the food court on the 1st floor. This was the 2nd time I've gone there & I was lucky enough to get a booth - this makes it a better experience so I'd advise people to ask for them if they're going.

Nandos Mahon Point 4.0 star review: Have been here several times, once the staff were a bit overwhelmed by a large number of people arriving at the same time and the service suffered, but generally it's quite good. Some of the tables are very close together, so not ideal for romance! As for the food, their chicken wings and chicken wraps in particular are delicious. Chips and rice are average. Overall the food is tasty and proper. A little pricey maybe - but they do have a good loyalty card scheme to counterbalance this!

Nandos Mahon Point 4.0 star review: I went to Nandos for a second visit recently and enjoyed another tasty meal. It was a little quiet so there wasn't too much atmosphere but the piped music was ok. I'm developing a real liking for their Peri-Peri chicken and so I ordered some of that along with 2 standard sides (garlic bread and spicy rice. Service was very good and fast. Staff are friendly and helpful. The presentation of my order was good but the amount of food served was small. Every bite was delicious and mega-tasty. I may have to order a bigger portion next time but at least I didn't put on too many calories. It's a little strange having to get a drink, cutlery, sauce, napkins etc yourself but it gives you something to do while you're waiting for your food to arrive. I love trying out the different orders. I hope to visit every 4-6 weeks. Well done Nandos. Welcome to Cork.

Nandos Mahon Point 4.5 star review: After all the hype about Nandos opening in the old Bennigans site in Mahon Point, we just had to try it.

There was a bit of a queue for a table but we were seated within 5-10 minutes as promised, the waiter explained how the restaurant worked and we were left to order. I'm not sure if I like the self service soft drinks, cutlery, sauces and ordering your food at the bar (reminds me of my waiter days) but it certainly speeds up the process.

I ordered the peri peri chicken with two sides (medium sauce – could have been spicier), my wife the Steak Sandwich (one side dish) which she loved and two bottomless Cokes. Not bad value for around €30 I suppose.

The place has really nice décor, and the staff are lovely. Our waitress was particularly taken with our infant son, which was nice.

All in all its not bad and we will certainly be going back. Thanks Nandos.

Nandos Mahon Point 5.0 star review: Having awaited the opening of Nando's in Cork since mid last year after visiting the store in the Pavillions Shopping Centre, Swords; was delighted to get the news that Nando's were eventually after opening their highly anticipated store in Mahon Point shopping centre, in Cork.

Was in Mahon Point last Saturday with my Niece having a look around and doing some shopping and decided we'd go in to try it and have something to eat, obviously :-).

Arriving at the entrance; we were seated immediately, even though the restaurant was fairly busy, though the queues to enter were quite small, but after all it was quite early(ish).

As soon as we were seated, the queues were out the door and towards the coffee shop opposite, we were lucky to get seated when we did.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is quite nice, ambient and its quite a buzzing busy restaurant.

The decor of the restaurant is quite like that of the Nando's in Swords, and I'm presuming this is a franchise thing, but none the less; decorated nicely, modern and clean.

Having dined in Nando's before I was familiar with how the menu worked, look at the menu, decide what you would like, decide how spicy and what drinks, go to the counter and pay.

Have to say, the bottomless soft drinks are great, not a fizzy drink drinker, but it was handy for my niece.

Service was quite slow, we we're waiting 15+ for our food, but then again, the restaurant was very busy, but they did have quite alot of staff around the restaurant waiting.

I ordered the half chicken, peri peri chips and coleslaw, and I have to say; very tasty indeed. Had it cooked with medium heat Peri Peri.

My niece had the chicken burger with regular fries and quite enjoyed the meal too.

All in all, a good dining experience and it makes a change from having to eat in fast food restaurants in Mahon Point, a must do if your planning on shopping in Mahon Point soon. (And also , the loyalty card is also a great idea!)
