Visited on a Saturday evening when we were staying nearby in Glandore for a week. It's quite a small bar with a mainly seafood menu. Had Monkfish and Scampi both of which tasted really fresh. Service was very friendly and efficient and as a bonus, the pints of Murphy's were majic

We ate twice within 3 days and would not have thought what was an amazing first visit could have been so totally disappointing on our return. The first night the restaurant was full and we had the baked hake which was delicious and a pizza Our return 2 days later to a relatively empty restaurant provided us with soggy batter on the guinness battered cod, burnt plaice ( though we did get 2 huge fillets) and a tagliatelle carbonara in place of a salmon and spinach tagliatelle. On the plus side, portions were huge and when we complained the manager responded quickly with a apology and a hefty discount. If they can keep the consistency in what is served this could well be a haven for those wanting good value

Just to advise people that ownership of Dintys has changed and so has the menu. There is a lot of "golden brown" ie deep fried food on the menu. Wouldn't be everyones cup of tea. The lasagne is still lovely though! Not sure the scampi is still fresh. It is good value for money though. Only problem is that you cannot book a table which can be a problem for big groups or people in a rush...
