Well priced and friendly service. Had a quick dinner and a few drinks here last week. Enjoyed the large portions with excellent produce being used.

We went to West Cork for new years and while driving back to our accommodation after a day of driving around we stopped off in the Black Sheep for some food. The minute we walked in through the door we were met with a smile. The place was not overly busy but had a lovely atmosphere. We positioned ourselves beside the open turf fire which was welcome on a cold cold day! Anyhow, onto the food. I ordered the cod and fish and my girlfriend, bacon & cabbage. After about 10 mins the food was delivered and oh my god, it was divine. The cod & side salad was so fresh and easily the nicest battered cod I’ve ever had and according to my girlfriend, the bacon and cabbage was sublime. Very generous portions served with a smile. Highly, highly recommend this place.

Good pub grub with a good selection of sea food which is to be expected in a coastal town. Friendly and effecient staff. Reasonably priced.
