We visited Fishy Fishy while in Cork for four days. We weren't very impressed at all.I had ordered the sole on the bone and when I pulled back the meat there was a pool of blood which i didn't want to risk being pregnant.So sent it back,My partner wasn't impressed either with his. I had to eat some of his because i was so hungry.25mins later my new sole came out and i wasn't that hungry but i tried it and each mouth had loads of bones.I have had sole on the bone before but this was so off putting.The starter was nice but very small. Over all we were very disappointed.

We heard about this place from the owner of the B&B we stayed in while visiting Kinsale. The place was simply too crowded and very, very noisy. The food was very good but a bit on the pricey side for the amount of portions that were served.

Having heard so much about fishy fishy, i took my family there on sunday for an early lunch,just as well it was early, be warned by 1pm there was a long waiting time for tables. The room is bright and buzzy, all staff well turned out and friendly, the food its self is good, nothing amazing but fresh, pricey for lunch service was ok but not very attentive,cafe style with top class restaurant prices, short but good wine list.
