4 of us visited Bantry for weekend and ate here on both nights of our stay even though we weren't staying in the hotel. Have to say the food was top notch and would highly recommend the steak and Murphys pie. It was worth the drive down for this alone. All the food we sampled was excellent and we couldn't fault the service in any way. Would recommend the Bantry bay for food anytime and the bar service isn't half bad either. We all said we will be back for more in the future.

I visited this hotel restaurant during summer 2007. The atmosphere was very poor and the service likewise. I waited quite a while to have my order taken and also at the end of the meal, to order coffee. The food was basic and not very appetising. I wouldn't be inclined to eat here again. The price of the food was too much considering the quality.
