typical 3 star hotel, very expensive, 24.95 for 2 courses and 29.95 for 3 courses. As vegetarians, we were very disappointed because there was no choice and the same predictable penne pasta was on for the duration of our 7 night stay. Ate in restaurant once, totally bland soap and penne pasta, unimaginative, over-expensive food.

Stayed for the weekend in the hotel over Paddy's w/end. Ate twice in the restaurant and found it to be surprisingly good for a Quality Hotel restaurant. We have stayed in a number of these hotels but this restaurant was very good. The menu, table d'hote, was a bit limited due to the time of year but the quality of the food was very good. We both had the steak on the first night which was really very, very good and on the second night I had turkey and my partner had an unusual fish dish which she said was excellent. Service was very good and very attentive. Price for a bottle of wine, two starters, two main courses and one dessert; €79 which I think is good value.
