Was actually pleasantly surprised by the Bar Food here during our recent stay. Hubbie and I ordered the roast veg omelettes, which were gorgeous and were served with chips and salad and my two daughers loved the vegetarian pasta dishes. lovely view of the sea but a lot of noisy little kids, not great for us now with a 15 year old and 13 year old not nosh good.

This place lacks any sort of atmosphere for a hotel bar. The food was TERRIBLE!!! it was thrown together and sloppy. The service was almost non existant. The tables were filthy and covered in used plates and glasses that no one seemed responsible for cleaning! Also no order when bringing out the food. Waiter wandered around with the plates not knowing which table the food was for.. Overall a terrible experience. the local chipper is a safer bet

My family went to this restaurant for sunday lunch which I can only describe as pig swill. A chainsaw should have been part of the cutlery to cut the beef. The vegetables consisted of a half of a dried up potatoe with its skin on, a roast potatoe that you could bounce off the wall and peas, green beans and brussel sprouts all mixed in together which were overcooked and tasteless. The kids meals were no better. When I complained to the floor manager he said because we arrived so late (2.20pm!!! ) and food is not at its best I asked him do they still charge the same for the food at 1pm and 2.20pm if that was the case to which he could not give an answer. So my advise if you wish to have a nice family day out and a nice lunch avoid this restaurant at all costs.
