The East Village Bar Restaurant and Hotel 4.5 star review: I get craving for thier spicy buffalo wings every couple of weeks. You can get it in four types of hotness of the sauce, it goes nicely down with a cold pint of iced cool beer. its the best in Ireland! No doubt. A little on the pricey side to me but it depends on what you order, also they do the best steaks! Its my treat when I have some extra cash. I perfer sit in the bar than the restaurant. Same menu, the restaurant is very loud for some reason. I enjoy the atmosphere in the bar mroe.

The East Village Bar Restaurant and Hotel 1.0 star review: Poorest eating experience I have had in a long long time.I recently celebrated my two-year anniversary a happy time for most. However, after attending the East Village Bar and Restaurant I was left with a bitter taste in my mouth. This is the first time I have ever written a review for anything, so you can see how strongly I feel.
We arrived at 20.10 and we seated straight away. Ordered drinks, perfect. Everything went fine until we had to order the food.We gave our order at 20.25. We just ordered a main meal as we were heading straight out afterwards, as it was the first time out together, both having a drink, in over year, as my wife had been pregnant.
Another couple was seated next to us. Their starter came and went. Their main meal came and went. No sign of ours! We were asked did we want more drinks once during this time, no apology!

21.10 our meal arrived. No apology, nothing. My wife asked me to leave it alone, which I did. If not for our anniversary, we would have left after 20 minutes and paid for our drinks. Shocking, shocking, shocking……..

To be fair my wife’s meal was very tasty. Mine on the other hand was not. Fast food restaurant at best, very, very poor. Better restaurants in the locality.

The East Village Bar Restaurant and Hotel 5.0 star review: We ate here on two occasions in June and on each occasion found the service and food to be excellent. We were in a bit of a rush on the second occasion as we were going to the Marquee and when we mentioned this to our waitress and she brought our food out very quickly but the quality of the food was not in anyway lessened by the rush. I would prefer to eat upstaris. The atmosphere in East village Bar is excellent.

The East Village Bar Restaurant and Hotel 5.0 star review: This restaurant is very nice, the tables are not too close and the staff are nice and friendly. The food is lovely and we enjoy going here. The bar downstairs is good for matches and the staff are usually themed for halloween, valentines etc, a nice touch

The East Village Bar Restaurant and Hotel 3.0 star review: I only go here when a match is on - no atmosphere otherwise. It's usually good for basic barfood and the service is always good.

The last time I was there I ordered their chicken curry. Got a white bowl with a heap of rice, an uncut chicken fillet with the curry sauce poured over it. It looked horrendous and tasted it too. Their burgers which used to be good have gone downhill, and we all left there very disappointed. Never eating here again.

The East Village Bar Restaurant and Hotel 4.0 star review: Great spot, good service, tasty food and reasonable prices. I would recommend the nachos and quesadillas. They also do a take away menu (no delivery).

The East Village Bar Restaurant and Hotel 5.0 star review: Had another delicous meal in the East Village recently. The food and service were both fantastic. The waitress who served us was so friendly and our main courses were perfect! Only thing I would say is the ice cream is outrageously priced. 6 euro for two tiny slices of ice cream!! Apart from that we couldn't fault the place. Will definitely be going back for more

The East Village Bar Restaurant and Hotel 4.0 star review: Great place for a quick bite to eat after work or lunch or at the weekend or a bite to eat with a few friends. Staff very friendly and food very good. Buffalo wings, nachos and burgers are best on the menu. Casual dining and fast service with good value for money. Will definately go there again.

The East Village Bar Restaurant and Hotel 4.0 star review: Met up with a group of friends in the East Village on a Monday evening. We opted to dine upstairs in the restaurant as it seemed quieter than the pub. We each ate from the early bird menu which was 3 courses for 20euro. There was a good selection to choose from on the early bird menu. The wings were by far the best I have found in cork and come with sauce from mild to insane. As a main I had a Philly Cheese Steak which was huge and came with a side of chips, but the sandwich itself was nothing to rave about. The only offer for dessert was a selection of ice cream with the early bird menu which was a bit of a dissapointment. I would definetly go back for the wings but will order another main dish next time.
