went down here for the early bird special which is firstly terrific value. Like all Indian restaurants I have been too the staff were very attentive so that was nice to see that trend continue. The food was lovely. I had a chicken dish (only one on early bird) and it was unreal. it could have fed two people. The place is really nice with a lovely atmosphere. Try it!

i found this indian to be one of the better restuarants in cork, nice flavours and not overpriced, only main complaint is you seem to get more in your takeaway portions than you do at a sit down meal. Overall a good value tasty indian

Myself and a friend had a pleasant mid week meal at Lal Quila during a recent visit to Douglas. It wasn't our first choice but when we couldn't get a table at another restaurant in the town we decided to give this place a try. They had a three course early bird menu for €20 so we went with that. The food was fine, we weren't blown away but at the same time we couldn't fault anything, except maybe the dessert which was limited to ice-cream for the early bird. We each had two glasses of house red wine during the meal. The price for the lot came to about €58. The service was very efficient, but then again there appeared to be as many wait staff as diners so it ought to have been! Overall a pleasant experience
