We stopped into this charming pub on a wet Sunday afternoon and had a bowl of fish soup (specifically soup, not chowder) and a bowl of french onion soup… Both soups were lovely – the French onion soup was absolutely perfect… I would visit here again…. The rest of the menu looked great…

Lovely old fashioned pub, very nautically themed, gorgeous view from the front door of the marinas in Crosshaven. We were 2 adults and 2 kids, we had a main course portion of mussels to start, very good, white wine/cream sauce, good bread. Then burgers/chicken and a veggie burger, all decent, good portions and very friendly staff. Circa E70 including 2 pints and 1 7 Up, relatively expensive for bar food, but worth it on the whole.

Cronins Bar is great so I was delighted when they opened the restaurant. Steak and Fish are the order of the day and one can't argue with the value of €140 for a two course (starter and mains) for four people including a bottle of wine and a few beers. Its not often that my wife half can't finish a plate of fish but this one beat her. The chef is doing very well here and the food is really well presented by very courteous staff. If ever you are in Crosshaven it's worth a visit and I believe the lunch food is very good as well.
