The monkfish and fish pie that I had were just fantastic.Piping hot and hugh portions. Its not often that I struggle to finish a meal...I would reccommend this most highly and we will defintely be returning soon.Well done to all...ye deserve to suceed.

NSquare Steakhouse & Seafood Restaurant 4.5 star review: We had such a wonderful evening in NSquare. I would definitely go back.

The only reason I marked the 'Atmosphere' as 4 was because it was particularly quiet the night we went to NSquare, but I imagine when the place is busy it has a really great vibe.

The staff were exceptional and so pleasant!

The food was delicious, if not a little too much. The portions were very big! (Only reason that was marked down slightly)

We had the early bird menu and there was so much choice it satisfied a table of three who all have very different tastes. And it was an absolute bargain for what we had!

I'll definitely be back to NSquare.

NSquare Steakhouse & Seafood Restaurant 2.0 star review: Dreadful. Went there on a voucher. If I had been paying full price I would have been outraged - as it was I was just disappointed.
First thing to note is that I bought a voucher from a crowd called Foffit. Shortly afterwards I saw the same voucher being advertised on at least two or three other voucher type services including Groupon. A bad sign if ever!
Next thing is that I tried calling them several times on the day we wanted to visit, but they didn;t answer the phone. However we tried driving past and the restaurant was clearly open and not very busy, so we parked the car and went in. There were only 5 tables eating - and probably 30 tables in the place. But we were told that we couldn't eat without booking!
Next time I was sure to book. The chef answered and didn't even pretend to expect to take a non-voucher booking!
The waitress and service was actually quite good - very friendly and the chef came out to see how the meal was. However the food was pretty sad. For starters we chose salmon rolls - smoked salmon with a cream cheese, chive and prawn filling. It was fine, if a little uninspiring.
However the mains ... there are only two fish options and no vegerarian options on the menu. When we tried to order the two fish dishes (pan-fired salmon or cod and chips) we were told that the salmon had run out. As we don't eat meat, we asked for a large portion of a seafood salad. The waitress then came out to offer us some baked cod - which we accepted - before returning to tell us the salad was already being prepared!

The seafood salad was poor enough - the one langoustine tasted as though it had been boiled for several days. 5 prawns were straight out of the microwave defrost, and 4 tasteless squid rings. However the deep fried cod was the worst - batter had clearly gone off an the fish had a strange metallic taste. Most of it was left, despite us being quite hungry.

Was surprised that this place has some good reviews on Menupages

NSquare Steakhouse & Seafood Restaurant 3.0 star review: Me and my partner went there for lunch. We had a Voucher for 2 starters and 2 mains. We had the fish cakes and the squid rings. Both of the dishes were really nice. But we were quite disappointed with the mains. I ordered the seafood mix linguine and my boyfriend had fish and chips. He was happy with his meal, but mine was tasteless. I have to admit though that the portions were big. We also decided to go for deserts. Baked Alaska and Baileys - maltesers Cheesecake. The first one was something different: sponge, marmalade, vanilla ice cream and a bit of Meringue. It was ok. As for the cheesecake? We've tasted better ones from supermarkets.

NSquare Steakhouse & Seafood Restaurant 4.5 star review: Went there last night for a dinner and have to say we really enjoyed it. We both ordered seafood and it tasted so fresh and cooked to perfection. The waitress was extremly friendly and observant which is a must, it is the one killer of a good restaurant to me if the staff are not friendly. Loved the idea of receiving a little taster before the meal, and the wait I thought between started and main course was perfect, not too soon after the starters and not too late. The only thing that let them down for me was that I ordered potato gratin with my mains (as it comes with it) and well the wrong potatoes were used for a dish like this and it was undercooked, and it was not a gratin it was more like potato with grated chedder cheese on top, that i have to say i thought was'nt very good and when we went to pay the owner said we would not be charged for it, but it came free anywho. But all in all that was the only down side everything else was perfect..well done will defo visit again

NSquare Steakhouse & Seafood Restaurant 4.0 star review: We went for an early meal in NSquare on a Friday evening and really enjoyed it. The decor was an appealing nautical theme and the hostess informed us that the interior was mostly made from recycled material! As we waited for drinks (all Tunisian wine on the menu, as chosen by the Tunisian chef!) we were served an amuse bouche taster and brought some bread. The starters were very generous - a pate with toasts and feta salad. We weren't rushed in any way, considering the restaurant wasn't very full at that time and the waiting staff were very pleasant and polite. Main courses were again very generous. We both had pork belly, which was delicious, but the vegetables served on the side were quite ordinary - root vegetables and cauliflower steamed. I would definitely try it again as the early bird menu is very reasonable and I'd like to try some of the other dishes.

NSquare Steakhouse & Seafood Restaurant 3.0 star review: Ate her for lunch with two friends.
The food was quite good but very small portions and was a long time coming out.
Waiter said that everything is cooked fresh so that's why it's timely.
I had the chicken wings and there were nice albeit a little pink in parts.
I will go back and give it another go as the restaurant was only opened a few days so hopefully they were teething problems.

Lamb Cutlets with Garlic, Lemon and Paprika

Why not make up a large quantity of this marinade in advance – it is wonderful with cutlets and would also work well with leg steaks or loin chops. The longer you marinate the meat for, the better the flavour!
