-I have been here before in the early afternoon and it was lovely. They served fresh cakes with delicious coffee so was looking forward to going here in the evening. -When we walked into the bar, we didn't feel very comfortable. There is a certain type of clientel that go there that if you are not "dressed to impress" (even on a wednesday afternoon), you are gawked at. We were casually dressed, meeting a group of people for a few quiet drinks, which for a wednesday night, I was not expecting to be in very dressy clothes. -We all ordered beers and soft drinks and I ordered the calamari. It was tough and chewy and served with an awful spicy tomato sauce. I asked for garlic mayo but got mayo. When I asked again, I got garlic mayo but it was vile and tasted like plastic. For 8 euro for a taster, I was not impressed! -The service was good for the waiter. He was attentive and always came around every time we finished our drinks, even though he was busy which was very appreciated. The bar staff were unhelpful so we stopped getting up to get our own drinks and asked the waiter to do so instead. -Needless to say, we didn't stay there all night. A little disappointed for such a beautiful bar on a great location.

Had some colleagues over from Portugal and France and brought them to Electric for dinner - had a great night, staff were fabulous and the food was gorgeous. Only downside was that it was very noisy and we found ourselves nearly shouting at one stage to be heard but couldn't fault the food or the service
