Three very hungry ladies came upon Bull McCabes last Sunday lunchtime and what a find it was! The food was delicious. Plenty of choice and best of all the food was so fresh in fact the best carvery ever. All the deserts were home made and believe me you can tell the difference even the coffee surpassed most pub coffee.
All the staff we encountered were most helpful it was service with a smile all the way. The owner Howard Dunne spotted that we three were new to his restaurant and went out of his way to welcome us. A charming host indeed. We will certainly return.

I went to this restaurant expecting to get a carvery, but I was quite surprised with what they had instead. There was chicken curry, salmon, spicy pork chops, etc. and I think there was also a sandwich and soup menu which you could order from. The place was very busy, but we got a seat in a nice quiet corner. The food was surprisingly delicious, I went for chicken curry with chips which sounds bland but it was well beyond my expectations. Would definately recommend this place, I quite liked it!

I've been here twice in the past few weeks for Sunday carvery. It's a nice, cosy, old-fashioned pub, with a nice atmosphere. However, they show football some afternoons, which can be distracting, so if you are looking for a quiet Sunday lunch, this is not the place. I was not overly impressed with the food the first time - the meat was quite dry and the vegetables overcooked, but the second time was much better. The price was average for a pub carvery, about 10-12 euro per person, and the portions were good sizes.

Ate here many times for lunch. Massive portions of gorgeous food made it very hard to get motivated to return to work for the afternoon but I wasn't complaining. Great place.
