We had lunch here on Saturday the 4th. Soup, sandwiches, and for one of us, mackeral fillets. Quality and quantities were all that could be desired, the atmosphere is pleasant. Situated close to the beach, this pub/restaurant provides a comfortable and welcoming place to have either a snack during a trip to the sea, or a good meal at the end of a day spent on the beach.

Six of us dined in the bar early evening. There was a varied menu available but as we we so near the sea we all decided to have fish and chips. Good quality plaice accompanied by decent fires and side salad. The only dissapointing element was the tartare sauce which was lacking a little on capers. Dishes going to other tables looked good and seemed to be enjoyed by the other diners.

been here few times at the bar for lunch. It's casual dining and great atmosphere during the summer time. The usually have dishes of the day written on the board, which is usually very good value. The seafood chowder, thai fishcake are to die for. However, we found the food portions were getting smaller. Despite that, we always enjoyed our lunch .The manager and staff were also very friendly.
