Big improvement since previous management. Beautiful dining room with great views of the grounds. Only dining option was a set menu at €65 per person. Was disappointed as we were not that hungry and were really looking for maybe a mains and dessert. To start we had the terrine (average) and the mussel risotto(v good), both good portions. We then had a sorbet, which had been left in the freezer so long it was rock hard, and was more like hard work than a palette refresher. Mains we had the seabass and the vegetarian. The seabass was a tiny portion and the veg was overcooked. We had the berries and the pear for dessert, both were fine but for a grand total of €130 for food alone the standard should be higher. Re the service we had to laugh as the amount of times we were interrupted to see if everything was ok by one of the waiters was a joke. It is sufficient to ask once or twice during the meal, not twice during each course!
