This a lovely restaurant in a lovely setting. Lovely oldy worldy feel about the restaurant and the bar is clean, cosy and welcoming. The food is lovely the thai curry is delicous and the duck is fantastic. Unfortunately the same cannot be said of the staff. Rude, ignorant, and arrogant, aggresive and in your face, is an understatement. I have seen this 'waitress' telling a couple to leave if they wished because they asked for the tv to be turned down! Which they promptly did. I have also seen her becoming really aggresive with suppliers .. very strange woman .. her accent changed! Will not set foot in Sean's again. What a pity!

We went here as a group of 36 and everything about the place was fabulous. Everyone complimented the food & what good value it was. Will def be going back again.

I have been to sean na mbads on several occassions and have always loved the food and the building itself. The staff however leave alot to be desired. Myself and my family and young baby went out of our way to get there a few weeks ago.we called before hand to check what time food was being served(4.30pm).When we arrived to an empty restaruant we were rudely told there would be no food for another half an hour.we had arrived here at 5.30pm. When we asked if there was anything at all we could have she snidely asked us "if we wanted to cook ourselves". we then decided we would have a drink while we waited. she then said "oh well it could be 3/4 of an hour or an hour". i mentioned that we had a small baby with us and how i had called earlier. she then told me "nothing is perfect".We were clearly interrupting her viewing of Judge Judy which was on in the corner. There were 6 of us wishing to eat that evening. If sean na mbads can afford to turn away that many very hungry and thirsty people on a week day evening in an otherwise empty pub then they must not need the custom. i wonder if the owners know about the attitude of this staff they are paying??
