Dined here with two others having been rcommended to us. Food was delicious. Service was excellent. Menu has a good range and they have a recommened beer with each dish. They also have a daily special which is excellent value. I had the turkey dish which was €11.95 and could not finish it all as portion was so generous. Would definitely recommend to others.

I visited The White Horse Inn on the afternoon of Thursday 8 October 2009 with members of my immediate family. I hadn't been in The White Horse Inn since around 1985 when I lived in Cork, before moving to UK. Once we were settled at the table the service started and continued unobtrusively but efficiently and pleasantly throughout. We each had a main course followed by either dessert & coffee. I had chicken fajitas, my brother had a cod dish, my sister-in-law had steak and my elderly mum also had a chicken dish. Right across the board the meals were absolutely delicious, freshly prepared, none of this pre-prepared nonsense. The meals were so comfortably filling that it was a toss of a coin as to whether we would have some desert, but we gave in to the sight of the desert menu. The whole thing including drinks cost E88 which we were quite happy with. The White Horse Inn is definitely on my recommended list for any of my friends visiting the area.

Lovely atmosphere & excellent value for money for Sun lunch. Great variety on menu but was a little disappointed in the veg.risotto - it was very salty. but would definately go back again.
