Dined here with two others and went for the meal deal which included bottle of wine which was great value. The portions were very generous and we thouroughly enjoyed every course. The staff were very courtious and would definitely recommend.

Last month my year went to the oriel house for the debs and it was fantastic! As many restaurants either do not hold debs balls or don't care what the food served is like we were pleasently surprised. The price was fantastic as the tickets were only 40 euro each, compared to last years 60 euro. As a starter we were served everyones favourite, vegetable soup, this was fantastic, there was a burst of flavour from it. Our main course was either 8oz beef burgers or chicken and ham with a mushroom sauce, I ordered the chicken and was totally satisfied with my choice, I finished every last bite! Our dessert however was profiteroles and didn't quite live up to my expectations, the chocolate sauce was too strong and there was not enough cream. I must also say the security was quite tight and being only 2 months overage they didn't believe my ID and I had quite a bit of trouble, also, because of new laws, underage were kicked out at 12 but were thrown outside to wait instead of given a room, I thought this quite unfair.

Was there for lunch and the main course was out of this world. Georgeous... Was not waiting long to be served at all like other reviews mentioned. Until we ordered the dessert... Now this took a while to arrive. just as well we were not running back to work or anything. be aware also that the dessert menu would not suitable for nut alergy sufferers. I ordered the brownie and I have to say the portion was huge. 1 would have done the 3 of us. Overall it was a nice experience. And I probably will go back.. nice surroundings
