Zest was opened in May of 2010 as part of the multi-million euro redevelopment of Shannon Knights Bars. Our objective behind Zest was to offer customers a unique dining experience to cater for the people of Shannon and the surrounding towns and cities as well as attracting passing trade especially tourists from Shannon Airport. Zest offer customers a relaxed casual dining experience in a visually rich environment with fantastic and affordable food. Our head chef, Clifford Ryan, has but together a deliciously tempting menu to suit all tastes. The bistro also offers an all-weather outdoor dining area. Zest is open seven days a week serving breakfast, coffee mornings, lunch and dinner. Opening hours are 10am-9pm Monday-Sunday

Zest is one of the gems in Shannon town and since it opened it made the shopping center so upbeat. Its modern decor and friendly staff as well as its competitive prices will draw you in time after time. The evening menu with bottle of wine for two just cant be beaten with free admission to the night club thrown in. I have been here on numerous occassions for lunch, popped in for coffee when I unexpectedly met a friend, and for the wine and dine special at night. Every time I am impressed with this upbeat bistro. Again I have to mention the friendly and helpful staff who take time to give you individual attention. A true addition to Shannon.

I have eaten in Zest on numerous occasions since it opened and have never been disappointed.. it is one of the nicest restaurents I have ever been to. The service is excellent, the food mouth watering and even better in today's economy, fantastic value for money! It makes eating out affordable for us over-taxed workers..! If you dont believe me, try it for yourself... delicious 4 course meal plus a bottle of wine for 2 people: €50!!!!!!

In Shannon tthis morning picking up family and all hungry decided to call into Zest for breakfast, much impressed with the service food and layout this place was only re launched from what I hear locally but what a breath of fresh air nothing was a problem staff are hand picked professional but still khow how to connect with the customer. Best of luck to this place I will be back as will the others with me
