Highly recommended. The staff couldnt be nicer. The owner and his wife are very nice people. They collected us for free from the East Clare Golf village a few miles away and offered us a 20% discount on our meal as was advertised in our accomodation. The value was excellent. 6 of us ate 3 courses (bar maybe two not bothering with dessert), teas and a round of drinks. All for 100 euro. The food was pretty good. I had a very tasty homemade burger and general concensus was good around the table. My biscuit cake dessert was very good too. Highly recommended.

Visited here with a friend from the local area for a filling bit of food and a few drinks in comfortable and relaxing surroundings. Had visited here during festival time as this pub is renound for its traditional music, so a return was on the cards. Staff are very friendly and chatty, service was good, food plentiful and tasty and good value too. It is a typical country pub location out of the village with lots of parking outside .It has a good local trade and great craic and conversation.
