Visited here with a family group for a nice lunch and a bit of shopping in the local area. The place was busy and the staff ok. The burger was excellent, cooked as I liked it and very filling. Other members had fish, and pizza and all were pleased. We thought it was a bit expensive for pub grub and the bill was substancial when we included drinks and minerals but its a prime location in a tourist area so to be expected I imagine. I would recommend it for a no fuss on the spot bit of bar food.

What a fantastic place for good wholesome food... We had lunch here on Friday and the cottage pie was one of the nicest I have ever eaten... The staff are very helpful & genuine... Portions are generous, atmosphere is that of a nice Irish bar / restaurant... If I lived in Bunratty I think I would eat here regularly

don’t know why I expected this to be fairly awful – maybe because it was forced pit stop and Bunratty is notoriously a tourist trap. Super lunch of great pub grub and very poor dessert. the Bacon and Cabbage (@€11.20) was to die for. The staff were efficient and pleasant. The apple pie (@€5.30) was not up to much but in truth I was so happy with the B&C it didn’t bother me at all. Highly recommend as a pit stop.
