4.0 Wood Brothers Bistro 4.0 star review:
Took my Mum here for lunch & we really enjoyed the experience. We headed in around lunch time & the place was busy with families & tables of twos. While there were only 2 serving staff they were efficient & kept on their toes. We both ordered the goats cheese salad & while we were waiting, a lovely basket of bread was delivered to our table along with glasses of water. The service was friendly. Our food was very good, nicely presented & tasty. As we chatted too long over our mains, there was little choice left for lunch so we just had coffees. I would definitely recommend the place for lunch in particular families as the place is spacious & bright with good food served.

We are from the U.S. and dropped by for lunch while on holiday. I had a pasta dish that had the best sauce I ever tasted. I learned that John Wood, the owner made it from his own home-grown tomatoes. He has his own garden and his vegetable dishes come from there. His partner, Brenda was so friendly and delightful.
After we finished our meal, John and Brenda invited us next door to Redden's Pub and later to Brenden Grace's pub. We had a great night and met many friends of John and Brenda. We even had a pint with Brenden Grace. Thank you so much John and Brenda!
